Good news is there is likely teams for the aircraft types. But Indonesia has covered there bases if there parts supply gets cut.

KERIS mentioned that the new hind (Mi-35M) had arrived back in July.
Apparently its just 1 unit? like genuinely whats the point? spare parts maybe? but then again why would it be just one if its supposed to be cannibalized, doesn’t make sense

Hmm, I thought there are two of them being delivered, one entry only mention a helicopter, while the other entry mentioned one helicopter and its spare parts, maybe I read it wrong.
Haha, having a Soviet/Russian/Ukrainian-made transport aircraft landing at a military airbase is always “interesting”. Especially if we already know that “certain stuffs” are coming.

Yes, but the exact variant is still a rumour, we’ll have to see it when it got revealed (officially or accidentally)

not officially confirmed which variant it is, the only mention of it was by this commenter who talked with Penerbad pilots and they said its a second-hand Mi-35M

I’ve seen a couple of people mentioning this as the new heli
But I dont think thats the case at all. the two helis seen in the post are 7152 & 7154, which are the older Mi-35Ps we already have. For instance HS-7154 was the one who took part in the 2020 incident where it caught a Toyota Ertiga and dragged it upwards, so it couldnt be new (footage here if y’all wanna see that)
It could be a refurbishment? but why would they classify it as new then? We’ll have to wait for more info i guess
