Expanded List of Indonesian Vehicles - Air

I think the most interesting would be either the akinci or the kizilelma

both would have decent payload options, but a stealth drone with AESA radar capable of firing BVR missiles and can work in a manned-unmanned wingman system would be very interesting to see

Rafale B T-0304 en-route to Indonesia was spotted in Sri Lanka today (09-05-26)

The acceptance ceremony will apparently be held in 12-14th of May

no updates on the Rafale C currently

It only had rockets and gun pods so it will not be the best for mix battles and I am no heli pro but it could come in clutch for infantry mode when that gets around the Asia.

̶A̶l̶l‎ ‎ ‎ Most reserve helis only have rockets and gunpods though, so it would be about the same, it would look something like this

the advantage of the bo105 is that its a smaller target and more nimbler than the huey

Update : several new rafales had arrived in Pekanbaru alongside the Dassault Falcon 8X VVIP aircraft

Note:

  • the tracker for the Rafale is not activated, so you can only see the Falcon 8X
  • in the video you can see 3 rafales (1 in the early part of the video), its unclear exactly whether these are new or not, presumably its the former, and if so then its the 6 airframe for the 1-2 batch done then (2x C + 1x B)

You also get some armour

true but hopefully if implemented you can have the option of removing it, because thick metal plates on such a small airframe would be pretty bad for the added weight

either you have it and you’re decently protected but less agile, or more fragile but more manouverable

Depends on what your doing don’t want to be taken out by a rifle cartage in infantry mode.

UPDATE V15

  • Added the Bayraktar Kızılelma to the future drones section
  • Moved the Rafale C from future to in-service

So there is circulating information in formiler group that Indonesian Army is testing Ka-32 helo (civil version of Ka-27)
and Keris group just post this YT link about Ka-32 flight test although the paint job is white which is unusual and the marking is Army aviation (i gonna assume this Helo is for SAR mission)
also do you people think Ka-32 could be added to the game? At least with Helicopter Gaijin is lax with the armaments rules and Ka-32 could be armed just like Ka-27

IIRC, there’s rumour from last year that the Army Aviation is interested on acquiring two Kamov transport helis, primarily for transporting logistics in Papua. The military have frequently contracted civilian Kamovs for that job, so it makes sense

IMO it would open a pandora box, as with that logic, basically it would made almost every unarmed heli that the Indonesian military ever operated become eligible, think of Alouette II and III, MD 500, Mi-4, Mi-17, UH-34

the black and white camo looks identical to this black one in Portugal (black stabs, some white bits near the engines)

The heli is a part of the Artic Group and this exact airframe (UR-CIR) had been used by BNPB before, but that was back in 2020-21, meanwhile the first image is from 2025

bit of a confusing story here

remember the Mi-8s that were brought by the broker and were deployed for HADR in Aceh last year? I suppose it’s the same case as the Mi-8s

I mean, this is already happened before with the Swedish HKP2, iirc in the WT subreddit there is a discussion that HKP2 is never armed with Missile or rocket and why Gaijin added HKP2 is because SS.11 (RB52A) is also in service with Sweden and they tested the missile in the Civilian model, but not in Military model with pontoon like in game

If it could use the gun pods and fire them even if they did not receive them they should get them. COIN aircraft are going to be so useful.

Kamovs - 32 is a popular civil aircraft as it can do stuff regular helicopters with a tail just cant used by a lot of Western nations.

previously we can only see from afar when they’re transiting in Sri Lanka, now a much closer look at the Rafale C T-0317 at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta today

Keris mentions that the ceremony will be held tomorrow, so here’s hoping we get to see more HD images of the jets there

The two MinDef’s Mi-8AMT that were previously deployed in Aceh was recently spotted with Army Aviation camouflage at Pondok Cabe Airport in South Tangerang. The airport itself is also used as an Army airbase.

They can be distinguished from the current Mi-17V-5 fleet by their rear clamshell door.
