Agreed, ground BRs should be increased to 13.0. Type 81C would be 12.0, along with Type 90s, Tan-SAM kai could be 12.7 (only if and when they make it work absolutely as it should, that means fixing the bugs and giving it its key features), Type 10 to 12.7 (could be 13.0 if they fixed the armor and mobility issues, absolutely 13.0 if they gave it its 3.5s reload). Honestly the only SPAAs that could be 13.0 would be the IRIS-T SLM and, again if fixed the bugs and given key features, the SPYDER.
I’ve been playing the game for over a year now, air got its BR increased two or three times since I started.
I think it’s as you mentioned, “mad-dog” but for IR. I’m not sure how optical is coded (if it has a minimum height requirement), but we might be able to send IR missiles in optical mode to attack helis or aircraft without triggering RWR (and in case of optical, impossible to flare).
It might be in the works since it does seem they’re working on it.
I am hoping for an update that will allow the seeker to fire in green. Along with that, lightwave FCS can display the expected hit point, so please gaijin add that feature as well.
I just want proper UTDC (IOG + DL), so we could fire without lock at targets that are not in our line of sight or too far away for the seeker to pick them up.

I have never, ever seen a vehicle release in such a half baked, crappy state with NOTHING WORKING. The bugs, the inaccuracies, it’s entirely unacceptable. It’s legitimately more fun to crush my foot with a cinderblock than play this absolute abysmal dogwater. Someone needs to be held responsible. There have been PLENTY of bug reports made about this, and NONE OF THEM HAVE BEEN ACTED ON, AND THE RADAR MODE THAT WOULD HAVE MADE IT HALFWAY DECENT WAS REMOVED RIGHT BEFORE RELEASE.
That, the missing LOAL on the same missile and the seeker being a Strela photocontrast copy instead of the visible light imaging type it should.
Also for the ARH missile the fact that the PESA seeker is modelled to be the exact same as every ARH seeker in game (Can’t wait for AAM-4B seeker to not be any different too…) and comically easy to fool, while also not being modelled on the missile because Gaijin couldn’t figure out how to implement a model that they had in the files for years.
And then of course you can only take 2 full sets of 4, with no way to combine the missiles, despite combined loads of both being literally the only way the Type 81 (C) is ever used besides cases where it only mouts a single missile in the first place. We have to wait for the thing to reload, just to switch the missile type becausr they couldn’t figure this out either.
And the missiles are still somehow more finished than the radar…
The missing 2+2 loadout wouldn’t bother me as much if I could put ARH on one launcher and IR on the other with no issues, but the second launcher will always restart reloading when you switch between them, making it useless… I hate having to only use the ARH missiles since they’re basically useless against helis and scout drones and even against planes they’re limited since they trigger RWR. But the IR ones are even worse since they lack key features that would make them much better against targets that are 6-10kms away.
This new AA is absolute garbage, just had a match with 1 heli, 4 scouting drones and 3 planes at different altitudes, none picked up on radar, only rockets, couldnt shoot on first spawn, had to LOAL at an A10, would be much more efecctive to just use the 11.7 one
