That’s not what you were initially saying, for me it makes the same sense for a top tier player to grind a lower tier reward as a low tier player to grind a high tier reward, I already did both in Ground events. The score required, as Gaijin mentioned, as to do with the rank of the reward, so a top tier player will always get it for less effort regardless of being a lower or higher rank reward.
If you want to make things fair you would impose fair multipliers, which we do not have.
I see a lot of that in this game, people not caring when it affects others and not them.
I mean I obviously don’t know the requirements for your discord server, that doesn’t really say much.
I crawled my way through germany like that and those crews and spaded lineups are result of that.
why are you trying to paint it like something bad?
Where am I painting it as bad? I’m saying it’s not representative… a Leopard 2A7 is already 420k RP to unlock, another 500k RP to spade so close to a million RP, 1.1m SL to purchase, 320k to train the crew and 1.1m to expert so 2.5m SL for just a single vehicle.
The average player isn’t going to be at top tier to begin with, and they also do not play RB so you’d lose both multipliers.
Because it takes a really long time to get there and Gaijin claims that the vast majority of players are free to play and thus will never even make it there.
I think you got something wrong there. It’s the same or worse for players that just want to earn a vehicle(like 1 vehicle), worse cause it requires more score for getting 1 vehicle instead of 2. And I think you meant that it is better for players who want to make money on events since vehicles will become more rare(you said the opposite). The thing is that events exist in this game long before the creation of the Gaijin Market, and in my opinion, events should be focused in granting unique vehicles to players, not to make players not spend money in the game.
It’s funny cause I was not as good as a player before and I was able to grind 4 vehicles in less time than what it takes me now to grind a single one being a much better player. You either don’t know what is an average player or you are thinking of an average player as someone that is average only on your matches.
If you think Gaijin is lying out of the ass, then we don’t know for certain how many people are paying at least, but it seems a pretty safe assumption however that most people haven’t reached top tier.
Air is several times easier to grind than ground, yet as a free to play I don’t see anyone grinding out the tree in any sort of reasonable timespan, and people who have played for years to get to top tier are probably not average either.
My most played vehicles are 5.7 and 4.0 but if you think so lol. Why would i spend 2h more doing the event points with 4.0 lineup when i can just take the 2A6 and get it faster.
I hate to break this to you, but the average WT player isn’t on or using Discord. Quantifying what you believe to be ‘average’ based on your Discord is a rather misleading sample.
But I digress, these new ‘events’ are terribly designed, promote abhorrent behavior and continue to drain whatever enjoyment is left in the game for casual players.
I love how average player, according to likes of you, is painted close to some bumbling moron barely aware of concept of eletricity and that is unable to count to five AND on top of that events should be balanced to include such people.
Like what the hell, why do you think average player is so bad and/or stupid?
No one is saying anything about player skill, rather in terms of progression just not having ace crew at top tier, the average player probably spends a few hours a week on Warthunder, not per day.
How is saying a person gets 1000 points per game the same as suggesting theyre some bumbling moron barely aware of concept of electricity and that is unable to count to five
