Cause they wouldn’t be selling as many event marks for 999GE, so they increase the time required for every mark and with that they also increase the number of players that would buy the marks for GE. If they allowed players to focus on the days normal people have more free time like the weekend they would lose a lot of potential mark buyers.
Oh, believe me, I get it and agree with all your points. It was more of a rhetorical question to you know who, who, for whatever reason believes that Gaijin has the best interest of the (casual) player at heart with the new “Event” format.
For instance, my brother who very deeply loves WT but has a family, a job and maaybe 1-2 hours a day and 4-6 on the weekend to play the game. WT is one of the only games he plays and it’s deplorable that he’ll never be able to participate in one of these “Events” even though he’s playing for 10+ hours a week. Anyone who defends this or condones such a format needs to take a step back.
Lmfao.
Not even a Gaijin employee would defend everything Gaijin does so much as some here do. Casual players don’t have the time to do these events, and don’t play 2-3h a day, every day. Seems more like a way to make those that can’t afford the time to do them to spend money either on the marks or later on the market.
I used to play events and keep playing the game just for fun, now I’m done with the game as soon as I get the mark and take a break after finishing the event. Last break lasted around 65 days when before I used to play this game daily, all due to the current system of events that burn out most players.
I’m not the biggest fan of his videos but I have to thank him for putting out this poll:
More than 8 thousand votes and only a minority of 16% prefers the new event cycle, by the amount of posts defending the new format it’s clear that this forum doesn’t represent the opinion of the majority of players in the game.
When you take a youtube channel meant for general newsletters and beginner help and ask them questions, of course you get beginner answers.
this event easy…, u only need play wt 2 hr every day for 1 mark, or mybe u guys complain because wanna sell it ? im prefer this event… player use bot cant join this event and spam vehicle in trade market
That was first score event, which was very much under-requirement, also the multipliers were slightly lower though I cannot remember by how much.
This is the point I am defending. You are absolutely right…
With such aggressive ways to collect. Events, boxes and so on … It makes me not want to contribute my money.
I would give them more credit than a bunch of pseudo elitists here that only agree with the changes when they benefit them. Probably the same that are ok with recent map changes or that want to restrict higher tier premium vehicles to beginners but hardly invest any of their own money in the game(and GJN coins doesn’t count).
There was another poll about the winter event :
Over 60% didn’t care it seems, 1/3 got one or more vehicles, and only 5% put in some effort, but not enough to get anything. Just don’t be one of these casual 5 percenters…
Also, the sample is bigger with 18k votes.
Literally no basis for that claim.
Source?
No, I was actually one of the 26% if I had vote. Saved my time to do much better things, bought some millions in SL lootboxes, sold the stuff I got in the Gaijin Market and bought both vehicles for a very cheap price. I would probably play if it was a better tank.
You’re also comparing an old poll with a recent one, so it’s likely that recent one will grow, it’s a thousand more voters now since this morning.
Gaijin, give this magic ones and stick it at 10.3
11.0 while a good rating to have magic 2’s the plane is just outclassed by everything else
Definitely a DOA plane. As much as I despise the new event cycle, at least they’re giving you good reasons to skip it.
Shouldnt we have had the Jaguar IS devpost yet?
The Object 292 came about a week before the event started. The event starts in a few hours and nothing yet. I know its not an entirely unique aircraft, but a few details would be nice to know before starting the grind
The model is wrong
That would probably explain it :D
Having to strart again does delay the devpost quite a bit.
They really should submit british vehicles to the british community a month early for review in the future :P
Well, they should fact check things with community from that region/those who work around that region. They probably know a lot and can give feedback.
Yep, like the Sea Harrier Cockpit. It took them 9 months to source matierals for it. Im sure theyd have everything they needed in a week if they had asked for help.
