We have automatic slats when landing in the tornadoes. Surely same feature can be applied?

Gripen would also benefit here, presuming the Rafale also.
(Makes sense for EFT and Gripen as a common feature as BAE wrote the Gripens FBW software)
Rafale air brake already puts the canards in a pitched position, and it’s implemented in game. Now, whether it would pitch even more during landing, I don’t think so.
Rafale in usual « park » positions keeps its canards feathered compared to the EFT where they are completely pitched down
Hmmm yeah briefly looking at a few photos they don’t seem to pitch significantly down like those on Gripen and EFT do. Interesting.

Seems if it goes ahead we could have up to 300 standard or 150 large CM’s with the new dispensers.
Don’t have a huge amount on them yet as they’re clearly still being worked up but it replaces the 55mm system and the whole blister housing the current 55mm dispensers.

Brite Cloud is supposedly very good on the Gripens, is this the focus of the upgrade, or is it just a general increase in CM count by adding both BC and regular dispensers?

We already employ the 55mm version of BriteCloud. Just adding more dispensers seems to be the idea.
