If the altitudes at which each person operates are different, their impressions will likely be divided. I prefer an altitude just enough that contrails don’t form, but there are others who feel differently.
The Typhoon at high alt is miserable, at low alt you need to throttle back and a few defensive moves forces you to loose all your energy and likely flat spin into the deck.
Typhoon feels unstable, it’s just not good to fly.
The Su-33 while not as agile feels more planted I dont worry about losing energy and instant flat spin.
F/A-18 is the same. Typhoon is just hard work to fly and that extends to notching as rudder just wants to jerk you back into the path of the missile.
I would love Typhoon to handle even half as good as the Gripen does.
They need to delete the instructor and start again for the typhoon

I mainly notice it at high alt. It either under-corrects with the the rudder, so my nose doesn’t point at the same place my mouse-aim circle does, or just starts frantically use the rudder to wobble left right left right left right ad infinitum, bleeding speed for no reason.
Neither rafale nor j10’s/M2K/conventionally shaped aircraft do this.
I have the exact same issue.
and when you level out, you have to wait a moment for the back end to settle to get an accurate RWR/MAWS position for an incoming missile, its only a second at most, but thats an eternity when you have a missile on MAWS

If the MAW detects them at all… I have the impression that it has a much harder time since the maneuverability update of the missiles as it can’t clearly predict the interception point anymore.

That is possible. Not had an issue yet, though I’ve also only done a handful of matches

While I saw content creators doing switching between zoom level like they have specific button for it.
You can set the Mouse Buttom to the Zoom which allows you to zoom step by step

Can be used to adjust the level of zoom, I have it bound to the mouse wheel for fine adjustment

Theres is also a 2nd binding were you have to select what your Mouse wheel is doing :3

It doesnt help that you are basically limited to 30km range for precision attacks, the Tpod limits need to be increased notably. I was in the Tonka GR4 yesterday and the limit made it a chore to set up an attack from any meaningful distance. Typhoon is even worse
The zoom level to me is to close like they were made for a peaceful-standoff attack range… as it is in my current setting. I will figure with the new scroll setting.
Typhoon CAS munitions all deemed too slow, use them too far would not be as effective as close range.
Use them too close, even worse with the key binds and the present of elephant SPAA.
The 2 available ARMs now are even heavier, you shoot them at low alt would make them fall to the ground when you barely can go high alt which could cost your typhoon getting hit by SPAA
