Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet

If the source doesn’t agree with him it is wrong

In game? Probably not, because of how GJN models British and Russian vehicles/weaponry.

In real life the F.3 would smoke a Mig29 9.12 before the merge.

Then let’s see the counterpoints that I’ve supposedly cherry-picked around, which talk about the RCS/relative performance of the two jets?

One of their references is Jane’s. It also says “company literature, and interviews with European officials”, there. Even if it just said “internal data”, I would consider a RAND report for USAF to be a more valid source than you and the anecdotes you provide.

We all know how good your sources are…

It’s pure copium at this point. I don’t doubt he’ll be right about the EF sucking in game. The only thing he is wrong about, is that the Rafale will be even worse. Neither will benefit from RussianBias™️ or Swedish-Romance.

Yeah he really thinks he is the inventor of the eurofighter that is crazy 💀

It’s copimium the raw material no processing behind it, My goddamn first time seeing someone contradict and say that the sources are wrong but he isnt, Jesus i have seen it all

I wish that were the case - unfortunately GJN seem to do it a lot these days too. Maybe that’s where he learnt it.

I have seen it from gaijin but at least they player should know better, but this guy apparently it’s a gaijin employee undercover for the looks of it

Indeed, it was a combination of the MIG-29’s radars inability to deal with the competing I-band transmissions of the Fox Hunter leading to it being effectively jammed. Paired with the extremely poor radar and RWR combination on the MIG-29;

MIG-29’s radar is either filled with noise from Fox Hunter and is blinding its own RWR
or
Having a functioning RWR but no radar.

This resulted in the F.3 achieving BVR kills while the MIG-29 only had the option to defend as any attempt to use its R-27’s was pointless. And that’s just with SuperTEMP.

subjective statement

You are in fact correct, because apparently you failed to grasp that by yourself and needed someone to tell you that.

National Archives tend to leave documents unedited for reasons of authenticity.

That genuinely just sounds like you don’t want to believe it does. You’ve got a source that proves the blatant opposite but you do you I guess… your opinion, in this instance, seems to be badly founded.

Perhaps provide sources of your own that provide evidence to the contrary. That doesn’t have this caveat and that exception

Because it would have AMRAAMs, and as we saw with the RC-135 incident Russian Kit doesn’t work on a good day

Off topic is off topic, it contributes nothing.

Yeah as a F3 with SuperTEMP and AIM9L can smoke a mig29 it with better kit definitely will IRL but ingame the mig29 works better then IRL

I wonder when they’ll get around to modeling this

Developer told me no, they don’t intend on modelling interference such as that. Same goes for the MIG-29/SU-27’s radars blinding their own SPO-15.

Ah yes. That’s a bit of a shame.

Fortunately, Russian military tech doesn’t have the WT fantasy performance in real life 🤣
Can’t tell what’s worse - their pilot training being so poor that a situation like that happens, or the fact that both missiles failed.
Thanks for sharing.

A bit late to the RCS bandwagon, but it should be noted that the Rafael and Eurofighter can detect eachother from beyond the maximum range of their missiles… so the whole RCS rants are rather stupud and pointless.

Both aircraft would have to use decoys, and EW to blind the radar of the other aircraft to make them harder to lock up. We’ll guess what, that is exactly the opposite of stealth and hilarious when you consider that both aircraft use Meteors which is capable of home on Jam.

Both aircraft follow the reduced rcs philosiphy, and neither are “stealthy”

In this case, GSI and datalink would have to be modeled. Because the Soviet Air Force worked together with the SAM, and not in isolation from it

if they add them i would play air reallistic for germany or france

But not thee best Typhoon as that clearly goes to Britain : )

You like saying use better sources and lacking sources but you never posted one source.

Please post your source to say these are wrong
