One dosent know what to expect in the forums anymore lol

Projected thrust improvements (should they ever decide to go through with them).

i assume this was the rumoured “MK106 engine”

@MiG_23M so it’s got an extra nearly 2 tonnes of empty weight, + a drop tank, and it can do Mach 1.21, this is not the typhoon L you thought it was

No, Just sparrow, a cursory google shows 7 different speices native to europe.

Nope. As far as I can work out the rumoured Mk 106 engine was a Mk 104 engine retrofitted with larger 62B fan discs (quite literally) borrowed from the German Mk 105 engine spares pool. Though Mk 106 appears to be a nickname with Mk 104B or Mk 104 62B being the more proper names.

Oh so it’s a legitimate thing? Possible to see it in game?

Drop tank is claimed or not depending on source.

Eurofighter states 30% growth potential not 20%.

That’s according to the least reputable source posted thus far, yes.

He’s French, and we know where it was tested. Pretty easy to look at the size of these regional sparrows and if that isn’t sufficient you can find an average. The absolute largest sparrow puts the Rafale at more than 10x smaller RCS than a clean Eurofighter.

The US sometimes doesn’t either depending on where it is kept.

So the sources is now wrong as it doesn’t fit your world view i see

No, I’m surprised y’all aren’t being pragmatic about this discussion in any way. The fact of the matter is - it says it can supercruise up to 1.5 mach presumably clean. That is how it will perform in-game even with ordnance because Gaijin doesn’t properly model pylon and ordnance drag. They didn’t for the Gripen, MiG-29, Su-27, F-15… they won’t for the Eurofighter.

Disingenuous considering the Tornado F.3 in game is still gimped, and the MiG29 in game gets 27ERs, which it wouldn’t have had until the 2000s in real life. The Tornado in the simulations had AMRAAMs and ASRAAMs,

They aren’t cherry picked - have you read the report in question in its entirety?

The data used for broad comparison within the RAND report:

You talk about comparing objectively, but I only see you talking about RCS, and insisting you have a magic sauce which proves the Rafale is much stealthier.

Do you think the Tornado with AMRAAMs and ASRAAMs will still smoke a MiG-29 in-game? I don’t.

Yes, that’s why I said they are cherry picked.

Their reference is Janes which can’t even be used as a source for bug reporting here.

Yes, use better sources.

Hell naw he is now claiming he knows better than the source? Nah i’m blocking him that’s too much
