(comparing EF to Gripen) flight performance and amount of hardpoints/weapon stations. the gripen c’s maximum missile loadout is the Eurofighter’s most basic one

Correct, there will be no F-15C MSIP II+ with AGP-63V1 from the 2000s, no Rafale, no F-2, no Mig-35, no J-16.
Granted, I’m only aware of some people expecting F-2 over F-15J for some reason.
yeah did read through the post they answered to and it is ridiculoous, i mean typhoon ecr is in development as well as FCAS, the employees wont all just instantly lose their jobs and the situation until 2027 is still very much open

Rafale M F.1 is also possible as it only carries MICA-EM and Magic-2’s
Surprisingly enough Mirage 2000 (C is the one i played) is still fairly capable to win F-16 or MiG-29’s.
It requires the player to be knowing what he’s doing.
And i still wait for late Magic-2 buffs that are going to make it closer to IRL performances
the typhoon got denied, even the earliest variants, so i doubt rafale will come anytime soon

This I agree with, but to be honest, at the rate we’ve seen new stuff in the past year (I genuinely was not expecting Aim-9M for example on 4th gens this year. I was expecing and really hoping they’d be given to a handful of gen 3s that could do with an edge like the Shar FA2, F4F ICE, AV-8B, etc) then I think end of 2024 might be way too late. Im expecting Su-27/F-15 this Dec and then early 13s like a prototype typhoon by March, maybe June.
I get most nations needing something reasonably comparible, but not that US/USSR need equal or better. Within 1 BR stop is perfectly fine and the Typhoon being 1 BR stop ahead of all other nations for half a year in my book is absolutely fine. (if not a little fair considering the past year for a few nations)

Late 15 around March as Cpt suggests might be too soon for a 2000s F-15C.
