Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet

Great work guys thanks!

On another topic, do you know if it gets an iff for the HMD similar to what the Rafale and A-10C have?

Can’t argue that

Except that’s just not even true, currently.
New Beginnings for the Eurofighter Typhoon | Aviation International News This article states 159 RAF Typhoons have been delivered, compared to 143 for the Luftwaffe. We have to add in the currently not in service Tranche 4 aircraft to consider that Germany has more aircraft.

And according to the Eurofighter’s own website, the workshare between the UK and Germany is 33% for both countries.

So the above statement you’ve made is factually incorrect.
Not to mention, the Italians contributed significantly to the project also.

Is it? I think I heard Defyn say time to 35000 was a minute too FAST?

Can someone enlighten me?

Great for Sim

Does it allow for Asymetric loadout?

Weaponry wise it could also be a T2 Block 15 since it has brimstones right?
AFAIK the only difference between T2B15 and T3A is some targeting pods

Afaik most A2G weapons were integrated in the T2 bolck 10 and upward more advance weapons came with the block 15 like Brimstones as you sed the came the 3A with lightning V pod and more A2G weapons

There is this

Will the typhoon lose his brimstone?

I really doubt that. It’s more of a balancing decision for them to have it. It doesn’t matter how many reports russians would create

Well… They should loose Brimstone 1s and gain Brimstone 2s, because no Typhoon ever used Brimstone 1s, not even the Brits.

But their reasoning appears to be flawed on why it should loose them and ultimately, loadouts are always a balancing decision.

da12thmonkey’s comment explains it best:

For Tranche 2 and 3, Block numbers assigned on Eurofighter are build standards at the time of production. The block number remain the same even after upgrades to the same standard as the latest production block.
It’s effectively treated as a batch number.
Aircraft in Blocks 15, 20 and 25 existed before P3E capability - the block number wasn’t associated with P3E and there are Block 10 Typhoons in the RAF with P3E including some like ZK328 that participated in Op Shader using Brimstone 2 operationally
