I’ve been trying to throw them like cruise missiles, that works sometimes, but result depends on terrain a lot, also mach 1 is not really enough for that.
I cast “YAK-141 mention” once again.
We all know that they can use Sekrit Dokuments as long as they’re not Geheime Dokumente as of now.
I only tested their range, havent had the chance or motivation to actually test them in a real match (cloudy maps be dammed).
It’s not worth it, planning an operation takes long enough for pantsir to change it’s position 10 times over

perfect example for how one Eurofighter carrying something = another Eurofighter carrying something (at least for t2 or higher).
they only carried the meteor in 2021 but it was already regarded as operational.

Only thing making it unlikely is its 100km range depending how high its dropped, buts its a bomb, no rocket engine, slow as heck in its aproach with a standard tv seeker it will not be dangerous if you shoot it from to far away
Because why would they? They are refusing to add similar long range weapons so why would the HOPE/HOSBO be any different?

but hope /hosbo? is as gimmicky as it gets only tv as its main feature with slow approach,

And since when has “it’s the only option” stopped Gaijin? I guess that is why they added AGM-142 for the F-15I because that was the only opti… oh wait.
Gaijin will likely just add it with LGBs only, just like they did with the F-15I, no matter how much copium you take.

Besides that the AGM-142 comes with an engine, which the HOSBO doesnt have they are worlds apart in capability
Then Spice 2000. No motor, no efficient wings like the HOSBO yet it still wasn’t added.
I mean… waffling about the F-15I when it has GBU-15(V)2/B with an IR seeker on top of the GBU-10 and other A2G weapons is eh (aside from that being the old and plain whataboutism).
HOSBO is basically the GBU-15 but with longer range, and an arguably inferior guidence method, so I’m not sure why the TV seeker is supposed to be the deal breaker here.
Range, maybe, but given how Gaijin is known for limiting the release speed of GBU’s, I reckon they’d do the same with HOSBO, so a range of 20 - 25km would maybe be the best case scenario in this case.
