EPav’s are a significantly healthier addition to the game than stuff like AASM and the other standoff munitions ppl are requesting be added imo. I hope gaijin realizes their error with the Kh-38’s and pulls them back because if more standoff F&F munitions are added, there wont be much point in playing top tier ground anymore

Yes its the newer version of the existing system. the new one is basically equivalent to the F-35’s witth colour displays and night vision integrated into the helmet.
the current one isnt bad, it was like one of if not the first variants using the binocular visor projection method but no NVG and no colour so this is definitely a big upgrade.

the money allocated should be enough to cover all Eurofighters
Integrated night vision, colour display, improved direct voice input functionality, directional sound, variable sound, noise cancelling, 40 degree FoV, virtually instantaneous refresh rates, 4k picture-in-picture capability, whilst being considerably cheaper than alternatives.
It’s also only 2kg whereas the next most comparable helmet from the F-35 is 2.4kg.

yeah i’m not sure if the F-35 has colour vision. it makes sense that a newer helmet would be… well… newer

AFAIK it only has black and white + green, and you’re right it does make sense that a newer helmet would be newer, i just find it also a little amusing that its so much better whilst also being cheaper.
Will be a nice combi with the C-5s we ordered

yeah this meteor order is for the current non MLU version. that one will maybe come in 2026 or later
