Not that simple. There are instances of both bar orders IRL. The game had it working all correctly until Summer 2024, where a bug appeared that flipped the default behaviour. Since most radars only specified the bar order only when it deviated from the old default, a lot of radars flipped due to this bug.
Now that the default is back to what it used to be the problem is gone (I would hope, haven’t tested it yet).
From what i looked at in the Datamine they actually did a lot of shit with the EF, and a bug report about datalink-less IFF was accepted today too so they’re actually working on it.
I hate how the WT community always assumes the worst, made worse by the toxic rivalry between the EF and Rafale, which makes people write entire dissertations that mostly just serve to embarrass our cause.
I mean we assume based on previous actions. 2 months to fix the flagship jet of the last update should be nowhere near acceptable. It should’ve been worked on non-stop from release as it wasn’t a “minor” bug.
And if they said it was fixed in the dev server update, like it says on the bug report site, it should be added to the changelog to avoid situations like this.
It has been, many of these were highly technical reports, some of which required entire code reworks. The devs have only just completed some of these recently, but all were being worked on as we mentioned from the previous major - now.
What about the cockpit EEGS? Has that been fixed? Or what about PIRATE being added to the cockpit MFD so you can use it to ID targets like is used for in real life? (This one should literally just be what the F-14B and Rafale IRST camera do.)
Hi, @Smin1080p_WT, the scan speed has been increased on the Captor-M but not the Captor-M with Pirate. Seems like they missed it, as other than that both systems got mostly identical changes.
