Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet

Smin, realistically, everyone would be fine with the current radar limits and scan speeds. The only real problem that makes it almost useless - are ghosts. Could we get like a better filtering for it? Based on an assumption that this is a much more modern aircraft than anything we have in the game and stuff like that…? Or would they just state “THAT’S WHY THE FRENCH HAVE LEFT” and leave it as is?

Sure, but on EF it feels more like a radar feature than just clutter. It’s haunted.

The radar permanently locks up things you don’t want, like other missiles, strange echos where actually nothing is at all. The ground?? I don’t know, it would be nice to know how to filter out missiles at least. Air RB is very condensed, there are always missile flying around and your radar likes to lock those far to much.

Add bug where whole scan repeats backwards and top/bottom bars are scanned twice in a row.
Would be nice to have some report or progress on it @Smin1080p_WT as it was reported like 6 months ago… Scap it, 7 months old. This crap affects nearly ALL plane radars. Cripples russian ones and makes something like captor quite bad. If this was fixed, there wouldn’t be such problem with it but now. Not only whole scan repeats backwards but top/bottom bar repeats itself twice in a row and only the jumps. The refresh rate of top/bottom is insanely long and middle too.
It is gamebreaking bug and HAS to be fixed asap as its affecting everything in major way.

If we cant get captor buffed guys. We have to push on this issue in first place and dont stop until fix is deployed. This should be no.1 bug for all of us as it affects everyone no matter the plane or new addition.

Issue has been re-nudged this update for the Devs to take a look if it’s possible.

It has to be possible. This issue pretty much screws up most radars and well. For example J7D on 2 bar works fine or F-4E. There are planes that work as they should in 2 bar and then there is captor tws wide two bar and each bar is repeated twice in a row (this applies to all top tiers with two bar iirc.).

@Smin1080p_WT would I need for an report about missing 1500L drop tanks an Pic of it on an EF, or would be mentionings in text and loudouts allready be enough?

Also the most prominent inner wing pylons are actually good for nothing? I can’t mount anything on them, which is a bit meh. Can’t remember any other plane with inamge features like that :)

Tanks have already been added to EFT. Others may come in the future, but won’t be soon for sure. A suggestion report with photos is fine though.

Those pylons are for countermeasures, you can see clearly see them.

Ah thanks. Didn’t know that. And the wing droptanks? Is there a way to mount missiles on them? Cause they’re not really needed. EF seems to consume not that much fuel.

Currently there isn’t sufficient evidence to show it was done. But reports are welcome if evidence can be found.

No, just like Rafale those pylons are dedicated for fuel tanks and current missile amount is correct.

There are couple propositions that includes double rack for Fox-3 missiles but none of them became operational yet.

According to Eurofighter it’s entirely possible to do so. Just because there isn’t public images of it being done doesn’t mean it isn’t possible.

So the decision not to give AMRAAMs for the inner pylon is inconsistent with previous decisions of a similar nature, such as giving the SA Gripen R-Darters.

Sadly so far these don’t prove anything beyond just a proposal. So since there isn’t a balance concern
with the Eurofighter and in the absence of any clear evidence it is possible on the variants in game, it remains to be viewed by the Devs as a proposal only.

The current missile loads are correct for operational aircraft.

So it could come in the future if the devs decide it’s needed for balance purposes? Like keeping it relevant with other aircraft?
