You sound kinda like Gaijin with this reply.
The Dassault’s Vice CEO at the time of the statement was litterally one of the project leader of the Rafale. When he tells you something about it idk why you wouldn’t believe him.
It’s like when Gaijin says that the Stinger cannot pull 22G and the Mistral 30/35 G because the Soviet cannot do it with their Igla. If we got official statement about capabilities, MBDA Brochure and whatnott, why not believe them?
I could also say that the Eurofigther being able to supercruise/mount X weapons /… is a PR statement.
I get it there’ll be always a fierce battle between Eurofighter and Rafale enjoyers but seriously don’t lie to yourself to reassure you that your plane is better than the other.
Rafale is better on certain point while the Eurofigther is better at other.

Even from a frontal above view, the engine cannot be seen. Also, radar absorbent materials have been used in the intake, as well as serration being done to the intake. The intake is also curved. From a Boeing engineer’s presentation:

Obviously the engine cannot be seen from certain angles, but as I said earlier, at longer distances, more angle is possible to view the engine.
This is the best way I know how, to illustrate the concept that at longer ranges, the easier it is to see the engine of the Eurofighter’s intake:

Box shape as opposed to circular, although the latter can be done better such as on Rafale. It is poor attempt at reducing RCS, little effort was there.

Well, tbh im not sure what got him banned. I have not seen things attached to him but i must have missed them when i was away from forum. Thread went into a typical spiral of insults etc.

Okay, so now all CEO’s statements are meant to be taken at face value, yea? Sure then, KMW’s CEO once proudly proclaimed that Leopard 2 is the best MBT in the world in every category, therefore, he is right and you can’t argue otherwise.
Rheinmetall to this day claims to the leading MIC in Europe (even though BAE is much larger), as such, they are correct. Mitsubishi claimed that Type 10 is literally impenetrable no matter what you fire at it - well shucks, guess it’s the most protected MBT in the world! Step aside Abrams & Leopard 2.
SAAB claimed that Gripen is a match for a 5th gen airframe as well. Pretty sure Nii Stali also came up with a funny claim of Relikt being quite undefeatable by anything the West had ever created.
Do you not see how ridiculous that is? My point is that CEO’s (by extension the company’s) statements are by far some of the worst that a person can take to heart without even questioning themselves if it’s a PR statement or not, Dassault’s CEO is no different to KMW’s or Mitsubishi’s in this case… that statement is not supported by anything, I am not wrong or lying to myself when saying that.
