Killing a Su-34 is practically impossible. ADATS is useless, and the plane with the AIM-120 simply does not want to fly after it, they simply drop it on decoys.
And each battle ends approximately the same way, the Su-34s arrive and that’s it, it’s over. Is this a game about balance or about someone’s ambitions?
I knew that I would face exactly this reaction. But there is a catastrophic imbalance in the game. Maybe the developers are not aware that the player on the Su-34 makes 5 frags in one run, leaving no chance of resistance to the opposing team.
No… really? Not like F-14B and Harrier GR7 has been doing these things since 2022.
Then of course F-16C which has a meta CAS loadout.

the issue with cas is that only a single nation gets an spaa that has a realistic chance of fighting a competent cas player that is playing at the optimal range, cas has to choose to get into range for almost every spaa to even attempt to shoot them let alone hit them.
Yes that’s right. I encountered this when I wanted to take my F-15C to attack aerial targets, but I did not have enough time and range to aim at the aerial targets. And using a fighter as an air defense is very difficult due to the distance.
Get closer than. You have HMDs and smokeless Aim-9Ms which will almost always get the Su-34s. If they come head-on you can switch to 120s and force them defensive as well.
I was able to rack up 3-4 kills every time I spawned with my stock Mirage 2000-5F and F-16A yesterday. F-15C/F-16C can do much better in combat air patrol to shoot Su-34 swarms down.
??? comparing the f14b and f16C is kinda disingenuous dont you think, sure they were both strong and hard to counter but the counter play was still there mavs and laser guided bombs were nowhere nears as oppressive as kh38 spam, the gap between the adats and the su34 is a way worse gap between CAS and AA than we have seen in a very long time.
My experience with AIM-9M is quite different I’d say. As a matter of fact I’d go ahead and claim unless the player you’re targeting is really experienced he’s guaranteed dead if you fire under ideal circumstances (rear hemisphere, favourably non-offbore and within 2.5km)
