Ersatz StuG III G - What Are You Supposed To Be?

The Ersatz StuG would be fun, it would be great to see. I’ve never understood what they were trying to disguise it as, it most certainly doesn’t look anything like an M7 Priest. I regret not getting the Ersatz M10, the Ersatz StuG would also fit in as an event vehicle (a low tier one though) I think.

A ‘captured Stug’ under supposed ‘US control’ (the Allies won’t attack it since it is (wrongly) assumed to be a US controlled vehicle with US crew)

Looks like it would be a really nice midtier reward for an event or BP or even as a minor premium, +1 to adding it to the game since it’s unique in what it was trying to be while also not breaking the mold of what the vehicle does at its BR (which I would assume would be around 4.0).

Maybe Gaijin also could add a late production version of stug III G. It could be placed(folded) just after the early version stug in the game. with a better mantle and additional MG34.

Clearly time travel was involved.

Should be like an event module unlock or again just a module, not a vehicle.

No, it should be a seperate vehicle just like the Ersatz Panther Ausf G

+1 as a premium vehicle or an event vehicle. I doubt it would be tech, but if it was, I would be extremely happy for that too.

+1 while it probably will be a premium, it could be a folder vehicle

Something interesting: An Ersatz StuG of Panzer Brigade 150, but not modified to the same standard as the others (lacking the applique sheet metal on the engine deck and possibly sideskirts too). Also of note is that this appears to be the only vehicle to have used addon concrete armor as is seen on the front

I would love to see that as it is a unique model! It also has the unique mantlet so it’s more likely your breech won’t be shot out. I’m really hoping to see some unique ground vehicles added soon and this would definitely fill that!

Also, how effective do you think that add-on concrete armor would be?

If the wiki is still to be trusted, concrete has a modifier of 0.35x (Es. 100mm of concrete equals 35mm of RHA). But if I’m not mistaken, concrete is only used on in-game ships, so it doesn’t have separate stats for Ke and Ce

if you squint and look from afar.

Naaaah it’s a T-95. The germans invented time-travel.

+1. I think it is supposed to be a tracked vehicle that can fire large size bullets, not sure though

I always wondered in some of the pictures if they shoved on some concrete, considering it’s meant to be a disguised vehicle, you could assume they did this from seeing it sometimes.

Big brain move pretend to be a captured vehicle. Anyway it might have delayed a reaction who knows at distance your brain operates on silhouette so anything to gum that up and to make it look like a USA silhouette would help (color included). That is why in game a low tier tank can go unnoticed in top tier as everyone is looking for MBT shaped object and why bushes kind of work as you looks less like a tank. I think it should be a squadron vehicle so more people can have some fun.

Side note to keep in mind for future posts concerning infantry equipment (If we can get WW2 maybe though popular demand) Operation Greif related infantry equipment might be a cool suggestion concerning to the infiltration equipment. Lots of allied weapons where used some to blend in like the mission in your post. Others because Germany had lots of captured guns over the years and had no other choice.
