Ermmm Explain this one then! 1000lb Bomb

So here we have 2 photos PROVING that ingame RNG exists!

So if anyone has an explaination as to why ZERO damage on my part, well within the strike zone and well within the total destruction zone of the 1k bomb.!

If you have an explaination - I’d love to hear it? or can we blame ingame mechanics?

I think its just buggy, I’ve had my T62 get blown sky high by 500kg bombs while the M47 next to me was unfazed

Simply, you’re playing a janky game. And in that janky game, janky things be jankin’.

This is a common ‘issue’. Sometimes it goes against you when you play aircraft, sometimes it benefits you when you play tanks. Win some you lose some. All evens out in the long run.

These things happen and its annoying as hell

I don’t think you’ll ever get a totally clear answer, best guess, something “blocked” the explosion

That’s comical.

This is an old bug tho, I’m sure this was fixed long ago. I’ve noticed that tanks like the IS series are pretty bomb proof but tanks like the Maus or any other heavy are extremely prone to bombs. Yes, Russian bias.

Yeah, thankfully I seem to encounter it rarely, but I do wish tandem warheads actually worked against soviet ERA

Thankfully, things tanking bombs is fairly rare for me

Client server desync mostly. Where the game client renders the bomb is not necessarily where the server calculates the damage from. So you get artifacts like a tank surviving even in the bullseye of a crater.
Or, ya know, Russian bias…

So is it German Bias or US bias when the same thing happens to their tanks? Just trying to figure it out lol.

I’ve had a GBU-24 land on the engine deck of my Challenger 2, only for it to do nothing to my crew.

Had a russoan attacker drop a 1,000kg bomb directly on top of my maus. Only destroyed an optic.

Clearly glorious german engineering

Its called spaghetti code

Kh38s hit leos and only take out the barrel and tracks.

Clearly this is german bias.

Panther takes shot to the side from a 100mm and nonpens.

Yet another example of german bias

Don’t forget the ConeOfArc clip where he shoots a Leo 1 near dead center of its side plate at point blank range with an Obj 279 and it nonpens.
