Leos are actually pretty consitent. Even things like Agm-114 will consistently 1-shot when hitting a Leo 2 on the roof, whilst hitting pretty much any Soviet MBT with a dome turret will result in “hit” more often than not.
There’s a difference between a few specific vehicles (namely Leopard 1 and the Panthers) that Gajin is too lazy to fix, and there being large groups of Russian vehicles (T-34s, T-54/55/62/72/80/90, IS-2/3/4/6/7/10) that Gajin flat out refuses to fix because they’re Russian.
That’ll be the Tandem charges not working against soviet ERA

They all famously hold an uncanny ability to resist explosives, and T-34’s armor is just broken is so many different ways.
Sounds very general. Because like other have pointed out even their abrams and what not can absorb explosives at the right conditions (and the condition is impact fuse)

It’s not about nonpenning their side armor, it’s about them surviving 2,000 lb bombs landing and exploding DIRECTLY ontop of them.
I still remember the turret dome of the Leopard 1A5 can take infinite amount of AGM bullpup and take 0 damage from it and automatically went hull down because its in the crater lol I don’t know if they have fixed it. Maybe Leopard 1 is Russian made right hmmm

Leopard 1 is one of the non-Russian vehicles I listed earlier as having a completetly broken damage model (that works in its favor).
The same thing happens to just about every tank… Maus, T29, M60, etc…
It doesn’t and that’s the problem. Even Maus is consistent on whether bombs will kill it, it just happens to be very explosive resistent.
It does… I quite literally see it every match…
