and yet rafales can still pull 12G’s but they nerfed EF to max 9G’s…
I dont mind that absolutely unrealistic 12G pull but that rudder…dude what is that?! Wright brothers had better control on their Origami thingy

Yeah Ive noticed that quite quickly after the guy stated the 9Gs, didnt pay much attention to it before I guess but yeah it does 12G still. But that rudder man and if you get it at some specific angle the aircraft just freezes :S

It’s fine, you complain about nothing substantial.
Maybe they just slapped the viggens flight model over it and called it quits? while some planes literally fly with one wing or ridicolous amounts of stuff shot off the viggen just goes into a uncontrollable flatspin if one of its ailerons on the back of the delta wing gets shot black. While trying to fly straight at 800 kph. Certainly the most fucked up damage/fm of any plane in 4 tech trees i have been flying so far.
The rudder on both of these planes feel similar though i couldnt test the eurofighters damage model with gun damage yet.

An aircraft locking up while doing a simple turn and being janky with the rudder is nothing substantial?
I’ve flown the EF. It’s FM is not game breaking or hindering in any way. Any issues are minor.
reading this thread makes me realize how bad the su30sm is…
it just needs a flat rework. The thing is ridiculously unstable, and at low speeds the drifting and rudder is abysmal. Other planes needing reworks are the MiG-29s, Su-27s and maybe the rafale. Not saying the Eurofighter needs a buff in any way, it just needs to not feel like a dying fish at low speed.

missing lift and too much drag
for the WT Su-30 to be able to try recreating some of the IRL airshows you would need to run 30 seconds of fuel due to the missing lift
Flight model wise the Su-30SM is a brick. It doesn’t have the thrust or lift to sustain its AOA shenanigans, its abysmally slow, it doesn’t turn, it doesn’t retain energy and it doesn’t accelerate.
Because the flight performance is one of the worst at top tier as well as the 3rd or 2nd worst out of all flanker variants
