Ah…the times when we still had J-out proximity kills. People farmed hundreds of kills / game and unlocked whole tech trees just in a few games. And those farming lobbies ran 24/7. Thanks to them we got the activity based economy.
Hard no. Not just because it’s not how you incentivize play, but you reward people for nothing.
This was also exploited to death by thousands of players which is why it was removed to begin with.
A better idea is to allow players that die to other players to retain 95 - 100% of the rewards they obtained while out on sortie.
If that player crashes or J’s out then they lose 20 - 50% of the rewards they get.
It’s the current penalization system to prevent base-crashing, but amended to incentivize more dogfights.
The change to reward penalties would end all intentional crashing and Jing out, and only unintentional crashes would remain.
