Yep. that’s pretty good since it will be the first French vehicle that can actually fire his missiles on the move (looking at you stabilised Mephisto…)

Ideally they should just make a button to retract / deploy
But afaik Jaguar should be able to shoot on the move, even the missiles. You’d have to cut the wire quickly though

That’s how it can do LOAL : the camera feed from the missile is sent through fiber optic to the gunner.
It can however be cut at any moment, but you won’t be able to take back control of the missile and it will become pure F&F
They went with this because its more reliable and most importantly, harder to jam (gunner <=> missile communication can’t be jammed unless you physically cut the wire)

The way i understand it : drone sees target, gives coordinate, and missile is fed with those coordinate through Scorpion. Then it’s standard LOAL
Take it with a pinch of salt, i sometimes misunderstand these things X)

Having an actual ability to defend against IR missiles would be very welcome, especially if it only gets a couple of smoke launches like the Leclerc.
Here’s to hoping for it’s transmission to not encompass it’s suspension as well, otherwise it’s going to be a frustrating experience.
It should get at least 4 smoke launches looking at the layout of the launchers, hopefully.
Funny thing is that extra shares the exact same smoke pattern as the Leclerc but gets 4 launches when Leclerc only gets 2 RIP

8 on the turret, 6 on the rear

I’m wondering about the optics they’re gonna implement, aint the Jag supposed to have like 4th gen thermals 'n stuff? Isn’t the game featuring only up to 3d gen thermals?
