in real life in would not be saturated no, I think France has a better war experience than you and know what such a systeme has to endure. Also, the “scorpion” project, helps vehicles to know where allies are, with new technologies, on solders and on vehicles ( like the ebrc, griffon or the serval for example ), so it helps for the treatement of information. Its not a systeme that will isolate every single shot, it will just help the crew by giving the direction of fire. hearing shot of a 7.62 inside an isolated vehicle can be hard, even more with noise canceling headphones.
Chill mate. I was talking about the gameplay implications for the device, not real life. I’m French myself and I know our military well enough, thank you. Still, I doubt this device will be implemented in the game, if only because of its complexity and the fact that there isn’t any HUD for it so far.
Yeah. I have been talking about its IRL advertised capabilities before, but I’m also not expecting gaijin to model anything new for the jaguar. Its after all not a big 3 nation, and thus doesn’t usually get mechanics unless on of those 3 nation also gets it in some way or another

in fact it will not be implemented, the jaguar is a techologies jewelry, and when its a little bit complex, gaijin are uncapable to code it right (even more if its from a nato country). The akeron will basicly be a spike, it will sucks, the CT-40 will probably be a disaster, and the shell… I mean gaijin dont like french apfsds-t for some reason.

Is the gunshot detection system able to detect a missile launch ?

Unsure, but Jaguar has missile detector afaik, although i think it’s bound to the Antares LWS and not Pilar V.
Antares seems to work a bit like IR warning and LWS on aircrafts tbh
No community post yet about it, considering how novel it is, I think it would have deserved it, but i might be getting a bit paranoid lol
The most anticipated vehicles always come after. They usually post the low tier/ least interesting vehicles first to build up the hype. If the Jaguar is coming, we’ll definitely see it in the teaser, and then as a devblog.

No it’s quite normal
In fact we are quite early in the devblogs, and my bet is dev stream will either be this Friday or next Week
It is also not rare for vehicles to have their devblogs after the dev stream

I have the same fear as you, as a Frenchman, it’s a vehicle that I LOooOOooOOVE and have been waiting for a long time. I’m afraid of having false hope

One thing to note is that the missile launcher seems to stay up while in movement. I wasn’t sure it would be the case
