That’s not how unfinished prototypes work, think Yak-141 for example. Sticking a turret on it that was never intended to be used is less realistic.
The Panther G turret was only put on fpr museum display, so even of it was functional, this would be an American modification.
It is real. The hull fully works, and the turret was modified to function on it. So yeah, it definitely works and functions

However, I’ll humor you: while yes, US Forces did in fact do the modification, it was not a field modification; this modification was done after the war for the Aberdeen proving grounds.

I meant a completed German Panther II replacing the removed tank, something that would count as “unfinished prototype” in the German techtree. This had nothing to do with the later American modification that wasn’t part of Panther II development and because of that doesn’t invalidate the unfinished prototype (at least by suggestion guidelines).
