Duplicate Vehicles: Why We Add Them

It’s fine until you play a lot with other people. Usually you won’t be playing the same things at the same time, so unless there’s a lineup every other BR step it can get really annoying having to switch up your current in game goals constantly.

Then again, there’s not a single nation in game that couldn’t pretty much have at least somewhat of a lineup at every single BR if they were to add the necessary vehicles for it, so it really shouldn’t be that much of an issue.

I wouldn’t mind either. Why not make it a once-a-year situation like the Maus? It just seems unfair that some people have some very good vehicles for the sole reason that they were playing the game ten years ago. And its even more nonsensical since they change stuff about those vehicles, or has everyone forgotten the Coelian APHE fiasco a while ago?

Here you go, real Panther II

Still isn’t the real panther 2 due to the incorrect turret.

Because the Maus actually existed. Adding more fake tanks even if its just added them back is opening a new can of worms what should be left untouched.

Even tho they are fake they can make them more realistic by adding accurate ammo in the case of 341

Well, too bad; the real turret was never built; therefore, this is a real Panther II, and cry me a river cause reality always hurts. :P

I want the Panther II/G in game lol. Would give Germany a decent 6.3-6.7 medium tank. That 12km/h reverse is the standout feature. Tbh it’s more real than the Schmaleturm he is looking for so…

That’s not how unfinished prototypes work, think Yak-141 for example. Sticking a turret on it that was never intended to be used is less realistic.

The Panther G turret was only put on fpr museum display, so even of it was functional, this would be an American modification.

It is real. The hull fully works, and the turret was modified to function on it. So yeah, it definitely works and functions

Maybe next time, read, think, and don’t assume. You failed all 3 steps. You didn’t read, you assumed, and you did not think.

Cause 1: I didn’t imply nor state that the Germans directly did the modifications. I only showed the picture that it was still attached. However, I’ll humor you: while yes, US Forces did in fact do the modification, it was not a field modification; this modification was done after the war for the Aberdeen proving grounds.
To study and understand what the Panther II hull would have offered, but also see what the effectiveness of the Panther G’s turret and gun were.

It was made in the US, but tbfh it belongs in Germany as America has how many medium tanks at 6.3? They don’t need it while Germany uses the Panthers with literally no reverse gear whatsoever until 7.7

I never said it should be in the US tree… but ok?

After that picture and tone i was worried for a sec u thought Germany made the Panther II/G. Thank god that wasn’t the case

I ain’t stupid enough to believe that. Just as much as I know that the Germans didn’t invent the concept of the flying Dorito. They were the last country to build them. US has been designing concepts and then building them since 1929.

Alright, if it was functional then it can be added. Still an American modification though

That is true. We can never have true change in the game when people will sell out for the half priced BMPT and other top tier premiums.

Not enough people raise their voices about it. So Gaijin waits till the results, and why Steam doesn’t appear on WT trailers anymore as a platform it is available on.

That’s not how it works lmao it’s still incorrect as the panther 2 lmao

It would be 6.3 at max lol would do pretty much nothing considering the medium tanks really need something in the 6.7-7.3 area

Panther 2 still didn’t have a reverse gear btw
