Meh disagree. The German IL-2 is an incredibly fun premium vehicle. I don’t mind them as long as they remain premium or event. Shouldn’t be TT unless absolutely needed.

I don’t wanna play the Soviet TT. I use the German IL-2 because it’s a good premium to grind a bit of the German TT.
Brother wants to use a German IL-2, what’s the issue? How’re you going to sit there and tell him which tree to play the IL-2 in 🤣

It’s that kind of mentality that gets us unwarranted amounts of copy-paste of vehicles that don’t belong in other trees
“I want to play vehicle x, but I don’t want to play the nation that vehicle x belongs to”
But it seems like you are the kind of person that actually likes seeing most trees end up with the same vehicles

Sorry but I don’t share your sentiment on this (obviously) because I think it’s ridiculous and not a big deal.
People will want to play another trees vehicle in their main, especially if they historically operated it, it’s totally valid for them to be added.
And I’ll tell ya, Germany used a lot of captured equipment during the war, it would be kinda ridiculous to skip on some of it especially the more prominent firefly, but I agree with that they should keep the event or premiums.
