Dreams Come True 2026 Predictions

Also, it legit says it could move under its own power.

Id say its 100% possible they had driving controls in the cabin alongside the Gunners controls.

It was the prototype for a self propelled vehicle, Not meant to be more than that.

Much like the Fv4005 was just a test bed for the 183mm gun, not its indented vehicle.

Id say it would be 100% fair to add it in some way.

Be it a multi part AA system like the top tier stuff, or something.

Have some humber armored car that pulls a generator, then you can deploy the gun and use it. IDK, its a idea.

Id put it at like 6.0 or so, maybe 6.3, due to the rate of fire. Depending on how much filler was in the VT rounds.

Hell add the trailered version, it was a more complete package anyway.

the truck needed to pull them looks epic anyway.

Also, the trailered version looks more complete, looks like it has a way to reload the drums through the side.

The one that actually could be used as AA (the one that’s on a 6x6 trailer) cannot move on its own.

The one you posted now, “Fixed Mace” would basically be an extremely slow casemate in-game with probably no gun elevation whatsoever.

image
huh?

It could 360 degree turn, and elevate once you dropped the wheels off the trailer

That’s when it doesn’t sit on the truck…

its on a trailer, you just drop the wheels and it deploys, like the Flak 88s.
image

The FV1201’s were the trucks designed to pull the trailers around.
image

or is there some bassacwards-ing in the reports in seeing, because im not sure, the green mace that started this conversation was apparently the Self propelled one, while the one i just posted was the trailer, FROM what i can find.

May be wrong, Who knows, The trailer version was built first for certain.

Okay 100% THIS one is the trailer,
image

The twin engines were for traverse and power, the Self propelled one needed the extra generator and such for all of that.

And all they had to do was drop the wheels off, lift it off the ground with its jacks, and it was ready to fight.

There are two (three) configurations.

The first one you posted is just the gun on a trailer that can’t move on its own.

The second one (the truck with the barrel sticking out) can move, but could at best work like a casemate, but more likely it couldn’t fire at all without properly deploying the gun to the ground first.

Last there would be an entirely stationary one.

None of these have ways to be reloaded without an extra crew, as the drums have to be replaced externally.

and THIS

are the same towed trailer

From what i can find the FIRST ONE, was meant to be the self propelled prototype, but never moved on its own due to the project dying, it was supposed to have a cab and everything, thats also why in some images you can see it having wheels that can steer.

My brother in Christ.

Do you not see the difference between the two pictures?

One is the gun set down, ready to fire.

The other is the gun sitting on a truck, almost completely enclosed.

Because the gun is elevating on a rearward axis near the breach,

its the same trailered deployable version of the gun.

Also you 100% can load that from the side without replacing the dums.
image
that is 100% a loading hatch. you shove rounds in there, and they go around a chain drive and feed into the gun.

image
Hell here is is Mid way through them either deploying the gun, or stowing it in trailer mode. You can see the front axle and everything.

I don’t care how it works when it sits on the ground and neither does Gaijin.

When it sits on the truck you can’t use it as anti air. You would only be able to use as it as anti air when it’s either set down and fully deployed or when it’s sitting on the unpowered 6x6 trailer.

And whats wrong with having a deployable AA?

Top tier has them.

I could see Gaijin adding a wave of Deployable lowertier AA.

American 90mm station with its range finder and all that, Same for a Flak 88 station, and then The Fixed Mace trailer. Russia could get a set too using the M1939 52-K gun.

Granted the Mace would be higher than these due to its ROF and shells, but it could 100% be added as gap filler in British AA.

The deployable anti air in top tier is still self-propelled.

Unless Gaijin adds deployable stationary AA, the Green Mace is not a suitable addition.

I just said that it could come with a wave of stationary Deployable AA’s.

Also you can’t really say that the Humvee’s pulling trailers really counts as self propelled.

Fine, the deployed units are mobile, which is more than what could be said about the Green Mace system.

That’s why I specified “requested for a long time” rather than “highly requested.” It would seem that being highly requested would be a necessary factor for a DCT vehicle, but the KV-7 stands as an exception among DCT rewards so far. The KV-7 blindsided many people (myself included) when it was added for DCT in that it wasn’t very talked about. However, it certainly would have been something talked about on the old forum in places thanks to its unique configuration, and I do believe I remember seeing the old forum suggestion for it (but I cannot confirm that), so while not necessarily highly requested, it was still requested for a long time.

At least, that’s my understanding of it.
