Except it wasn’t the same. Multiple changes were made. If V2 was viable that wouldn’t have been necessary. They would have just done a one to one complete rebuild of V2 and done more flight testing.

New modes would (and do) help, but prototype vehicles tend to be much more interesting than regular service vehicles

Again, V2 wasn’t viable. We will never know if V3 would have been.
Anyway we are arguing over the wrong part lmao the ho229 we have in game is a mix of all 6 variants iirc not fitting to any 1 Protoypes (this is common just to make the plane as good as can be)
So it’s a vehicle that never existed… a mix of 6 prototypes, 3 of which never even started being built and 4 that were never completed, flown or tested.
That makes it significantly less realistic than a Su-47 with air to air missiles added to it.
Actually up to 229 v6 started being built. And still no it’s a plans plane 🤷♀️ it’s still real unlike su47 with missiles

If V3 actually flew and was tested and didn’t kill its pilot like V2 I may feel differently.
So 33% of the time it kills its pilot… cool. What a wonder weapon.
