Honestly I’m not sure the A6M8 is unique enough for DCT, as it is a variant of a vehicle already well represented in-game (even if the variant has notable differences from the production versions). The Ki-64, on the other hand, is a completely unique design.
This is the first aircraft in five years to be added to the WWII tech tree; the last one was the Mitsubishi A6M5 Hei, over five years ago. Japan rarely receives new tech-tree aircraft (excluding sub-trees). Generally, Japan gets new tech-tree planes primarily when they can be implemented as “semi-copy-paste” models (e.g., the F-15J added alongside other F-15s, and the F-16AJ added alongside other F-16s).

The Mitsubishi A6M8 is highly anticipated as the best Zero. You know, the KV-7 is a modified KV-1, just as the Sturmtiger is a modified Tiger I. But I understand what you mean.

They cannot remove them entirely because that would destroy the illusion of ownership that F2P MMOs rely on. Why grind or GE anything if it can be taken away?
They won’t return them to general availability (at least for now) because it interferes with their marketing strategy of differentiating themselves from the competition as only adding real vehicles. Doesn’t matter if true or not, it’s marketing.
That is how you get the current status quo.
I think the removed vehicles will come back eventually, but also that it won’t happen for many, many years.
If it’s fake enough to not be obtainable for new players it should be removed entirely I think is his point.
If not, let everyone obtain them.
