I feel the differences of the KV-7 from the KV-1/2 and of the Sturmtiger from the Tiger I are far more pronounced than the differences of the A6M8 from the A6M5/7. The KV-7 and Sturmtiger have completely different playstyles due to their drastic changes in design, while the A6M8 would be played only slightly differently from the other zeros.

Honestly, if it were up to me, I would choose the Kawasaki Ki-88 fighter for the “dreams come true” event. It is arguably the most unique Japanese fighter, yet unfortunately, it is little known, and many believe it was never actually built.

The Su-47 was a real plane.
What I’m saying (and what you don’t seem to understand) is that at one point, Gaijin will run out of interesting vehicles to add and at that point they will start looking into more desperate measures.
That includes putting weapons on a plane that wasn’t meant to carry any.
The R2Y2s and the German trio are examples of that and no matter what they say now, they will get to a point where they need something to generate hype.

I believe only a full-scale mockup was built. On the grounds of the J6K1, it should be a viable addition, unless their standards have changed. I feel the Ki-64 has been much more requested, however.

As stated in the suggestion, by the time the Ki-88 was abandoned, its prototype was already at a fairly advanced stage of construction. Honestly, I’m not sure if it wasn’t even further along than the Ki-94-II, but I can’t say for certain.

I shouldn’t have to play against them if I can obtain them. I can’t buy them on the marketplace or get them from crates, or from BP boxes. I have both Ho-ri’s and all three R2Y2s. I’m ok with those being removed from my inventory, If not let everyone have them.

and besides gaijin did accounce it that they will be removed so they gave a warning and its your own fault if you couldnt get them but played the game
