Greetings friends, this time I am here to propose a visual rework of all helicopter bases ingame (both helicopter bases that appears in ground battles, the only that appears in ground arcade assault and the few that spawn in heli pve).
In the Firebirds mayor update we got a visual rework of the modern era airfields which personally looks incredible and realistic instead of the dirt runways. So now looking that War Thunder is focusing in visual reworks especially with the maps, what about we change the actual pretty empty helicopter base with a Forward Operation Base (FOB) with HESCO barrier walls (obviusly keeping the helipads).
Definition of Forward Operation Bases (FOB)
As the name says, it is a military base used to resupply ground forces and helicopters (transport and attack types) to conduct operations near the objective zone (the battlefield in this case). A FOB usually contains helipads, bunkers, guard towers, a hospital, barracks, resupply zones (fuel and ammo depots), and other logistical facilities, but its main visual feature its that the base its protected with concrete and/or HESCO barriers (this last one being the most common used by almost all mayor nations).
Current visual:
The actual helicopter base features 2 helipads, a really small runway, an anthena, and some houses with few barrels.
Proposed visual:
Forward Operation Base visual rework for rank V and higher ranks, with 2 - 4 helipads and maybe keeping the small runway, the new base will have HESCO barriers, some barracks and guard towers. Also it could contain little details like a hospital, a fuel tank, hangars for trucks, an ammo depot, some logistical vehicles like jeeps or trucks, etc.
