The F-16C with an AESA, F-15EX, and the “Super” Hornet will/would be 14.3s at the moment. The F-15EX especially would be a very strong contender to planes like the Rafale and Eurofighter. This requires AMRAAM buffs though.
F-18E would be worse than F-18C Block 25/30.
Purely over the fact that Block 25/30 F-18C gets an AESA radar without the worse flight performance.
F-18C Block 25/30 would be a good option for those that don’t like the playstyle of F-15C GE.

tbh the F-15EX would clear the current euromid we have in game rn it would be more of a match to the current Rafale. The current eurofighter is more of a good match up to the Su-30SM in game right now they strike good balance in between each other. while being on a level lower than the rafale in performance
a good top tier that would match the rafale would be:
Su-35S
F-15EX
Euro with AESA and two extra hard points for AMRAAMS

Any proof other than brochure charts? Even old eurofighter loadout charts from old British docs don’t show them, and present a max of 10 missiles

No, no it would not. You’ll have more missiles, MAW and BOL—the whole 9 yards, and similar if not better acceleration in a straight line, but you’re still gonna get bonked by MICA in any non-BVR scenario.
And this is all before Meteors are introduced 😵💫
this is the unfortunate truth, any plane limited to AIM-120s will be forever doomed as long as AMRAAMs remain so mid

That’s why I said current euro mid as in the current euro fighter we have in game since the EX would be better than it since they both would have the same weaponry at the moment, EX would still be worse than the rafale but it would put up much better of a fight against it compared to other 14.3s
It needs more simmering, more smoking, tenderizing, sous vide until really everyone is raging hard about the issue, then like the second coming of christ they will release F22 for a small sum of 120€ as a premium of the premiums. Offer you can’t refuse.

Do you have more info on this, some sources? I saw this a long time ago but didn’t bother researching, would make for a nice bug report since AFAIK the Starstreak was never meant to be installed on the British AH-64s
How? It’s slightly heavier than the F-15E, anything to do with slow speed the Rafale will still fly circles around you or be quicker to get nose on/HMD lock on you in any 1v1 scenario. Your only hope to “put up much better of a fight” is to literally shoot 3+ missiles at one Rafale and pray one hits. Similar to Su-30SM gameplay really, so just more of the same from the POV of a Rafale player
This is really my issue with anything that gets added short of F22 or F35. Unless they fix the weapons we currently have or we get better weapons u.s. will remain mid at top tier air.
