Does opening the radiators in MEC controls affect the chance to put out an engine fire?

I have been always curious about that, but I’m not sure about it.

I doubt it does anything in game, but opening the radiators to allow more air into the engine would make the flames burn at a higher intensity not put out the flames.

Maybe turning the mixture down to 0% could stop the fire but I haven’t tried it yet.

You could cut the engine off and stop the fuel supply.
