I dont know for me 5 mins is kinda long of just flying.
You will get less than if you actually played the whole match, but doing it this way at least you dont get crew locked
If you dont want to fly for 5 minutes you picked the wrong game
But i dont getting crew locked, i just jout and respawn immideately
I dont know in air rb is maximum 2 mins till dogfight on toptir, and i actually like it
Sim economy is based around survival.
Doing actions like bombing a base gives you activity. Filling your activity will mean you start earning SL/RP per minute and that gets paid out every 15 minutes or when you die. Landing also grants a bonus.
If SL/RP is your objective, then J-ing out is the worse possible thing you can do and you should be trying to survive above all else and RTB as often as you can
Yes they do, but is harder , especial on premium tornado, i kinda dont feel it any fair to fight with them
A significant amount of reward in air RB is based on how long you are alive for, you cut your possible award to probably 25% by leaving early
J’ing out is very unsportsmanlike, and very cringe
Idk why you arent getting crew locked you should be
So you are grinding SL/RP in the Tornado WTD61?
Then surviving is easy.
I play a lot of Tornado Gr4 even in 13.0 matches and can make it too and from bases with ease
11.3 in the Tornado WTD61 is practically free SL/RP
This is Air Sim not ARB. Its 100% of the SL/RP and you can respawn just for the SL cost
We arent telling you to dogfight in a tornado, just run away or return to base, rearm and go bomb another base
Way SB rewards work:
Every minute, you earn your statcard SL (and RP, it’s not on stat card. At 136% you get 2000 RP without landing, 2500 with landing. Scale accordingly).
You earn this in 15 minute chunks. This means if you earn 1050 points 3 minutes in or 14 minutes in, you are paid 2000 RP in a 136% RP bonus plane without any difference.
If you die before 15 minutes pass, the timer resets to 0 and you need to earn 1050 score for 2000 RP at 136% RP bonus from scratch. So, if you died with 300 score, you get 130 for dying so you’ll need to get a total of 1480 score to get full reward.
Full reward-
200 points = 54% reward
400 points = 75% reward
600 points = 86% reward
800 points = 90% reward
1050+ points = 92% reward
Optimal reward is achieved by staying alive full 15 minutes (0.8x reward in above table) and landing after it pops on the screen (+ remaining 0.2x).
Here’s an example from a match I saved:
We know for fact that at 15 minutes, 1783 is worth ~2000 RP (in fact, within this table we see at 1050 is 1978 and 1950 is 2001, so 1783 MUST be within 1978 and 2001.)
At 7:18 minutes though - 794/(7+[18/60])x15= 1631.50684932
We lost ~350 RP by dying at 7 minutes and 18 seconds in compared to if we stayed alive for a full 15 minutes and that is before we even consider landing bonus.
So, with landing bonus we’re ~850 RP short in a 136% plane. Scale accordingly to see how much you’d have lost in your plane of choice in the same circumstances.
You dont want to J out rewards are based on score and time spent. You get like 600 score for a base with a proper bomb loadout ie only bringing enough for 1. If it only takes you say 2 minutes to get to a base you are throwing away rp and sl by leaving the match.
bannable, no. disappointing and wasteful, yes.
100% skill issue
That’s not entirely the case. A decent loadout is not guaranty to give you 600 mission score, because base/airfield bombing is not under a fix score system like other mission tasks.
It’s based on the weapon type you choose (bombs & rockets). Adding A2A or ATGMs will have no effect.
How many you attached per pylon & bomb bay.
Which can affect the base multiplier the more you add, aka reducing the overall score earned. So never carry extra that is considered overkill. You are nerfing your rewards.
It’s also based on the aircraft type and the Rank. Fighters are heavily hit with a reduction. Not so much for attackers and bombers. And top-tier has the heaviest reduction in earnings. It’s end game after all and Gaijin obviously does not want players speed running to unlock and spade aircraft too quickly.
Frowned on probably, bannable? no
since ur not intentionally TKing anyone and ur doing a “useful action” which sim basically lets u do
Blockquote
No it is not. The only punishment you are doing is hurting your own rewards. Deaths under Useful Actions is not recommended.
I don’t recall it also falling under passive behavior. That violation is regarding what the name suggests. Like someone who doesn’t play and spins donuts on the runway, or just keeps beeline straight to space the entire match.
However, if you abuse j-out to spite other players. I believe you can get in trouble over that regarding the fair play policy.
But to j-out after bombing. Don’t do that zomber tactic if earnings is your goal. You’re only going to nerf your rewards in the long run.
Disclaimer: I take no part in the decisions that would be applicable to this topic, anything i say here is a personal opinion and not in any way official statements.
Well, firstly; landing and respawning normally in sim does increase your reward so to J-out to faster respawn to get more bases might not be gaining you as much RP/SL as you might think (if at all, you might even be losing out, i don’t know the exact numbers so can’t comment exactly).
Secondly, if Gaijin really wanted to, they could likely put it under this rule:
(Screenshot from the TOS).
But from a personal point of view; if the ONLY reason you are doing it is to respawn faster then i don’t really see an issue with it (I am conflicted about it though as it does take away any chance for the enemy to get you on the way back).
The problem arises when you j-out with the purpose of denying an enemy a kill or to avoid getting killed on the way back.
You can read more comment on the J-out mechanic from both me and Schindibee in this thread (it starts specific but some answers are more general so still worth reading): (Is fire-and-eject illegal?)
If you spawn in, take off, go and bomb a base and survive to 15 minutes after take off, you’ll typically get something over 6k RP (w/ prem ac). However, that reward is proportional to the time you lived, ie all 15 minutes in that case. If you get to the target in 5 mins, bomb it and J-out, you’ll find your reward is just 5/15 - 1/3 - of the potential 6+k, ie just over 2k RP. Once you’ve earned some points you earn more reward every extra minute you survive, so flying back to base for another 5 mins will double what you’re currently getting and then you can treble it by spending the final 5 minutes of the 15-min UA cycle flying circuits and learning to land (just don’t come to a stop on the runway until the 15 mins are up and you get the on-screen reward notification).
If destroying a base while living for 5 mins earns X RP and Y SL, in 15 mins you could:
- Bomb a base and J-out 3 times over for 3X RP and 3Y - (3 x spawn cost) SL, or
- Bomb a base, survive 15 mins, RTB and land for 3.75X RP and 3.75Y -(spawn cost) SL and not need to pay any spawn cost for the next UA cycle.
The extra .75 is the 25% bonus for landing after the 15 mins are up. J-out wastes some RP and a fortune in SL - and you’ll never improve.
