I found more funny stuff on reddit.
I think that it’s a bug.
It’s currently unreasonable, and it should be considered a bug.
If this is not a bug and placed intentionally, then this could very well be the straw that broke the camels back.
what the hell gaijin
Yeah, it’s just a horrible change that nobody asked for.
If anything the game needed more traction, not less. This is just making it worse.
I don’t even care about “broken” positions on maps, as long as each team gets access to similarly “broken” positions I’ll gladly accept that maybe I’ll have to let go of the W key for a bit before friendly air support helps me out. (Also imagine CAS actually having a dynamic use case rather than just bombing spawns)
For tinfoil hat time, my guess is that they call this a bug, since it is very excessive. But then they don’t fix it back to the original, but to a still lower traction than it was before.
That way they “fixed the bad traction change” and people will like them for it, while conveniently covering for their minor traction change they use as excuse to “fix” maps.

Modern MBT in warthunder:
It’s supposedly been fixed.
Wow that tells me Gaijin just flat out suck at their jobs.
yh but traction needs a full rework, it was already bad and now its even worse, vehicles in game have like a third of the traction they should have. It’s pretty astonishing that a game that claims to be so realistic has such horrible core mechanics.
Geneuinly, I haven’t even played yet, and I am already scared to join a match
Ive been down at reserve tier teaching friends the game so haven’t seen these stupid antics yet.
