They gonna switch nations and will continue to play as if nothing happened. Rinse and repeat.
TK mechanic between tanks is pretty dumb and it’s a good thing it’s gone.
Well, before long the heightened occurence of them TKing would lead to better outcomes for the rest of us to be honest…
And it won’t be them being allowed to switch nations, it’d involve switching games.
You can TK in Air RB, and you can bomb your own tanks. But I guess ground isn’t held to the same standards.
It’s ground to ground that’s turned off, and it sucks because it leads to this sort of scenario.
It’s actually so annoying as I CONSTANTLY take out SPAA, and I constantly find people trying to hit me with MGs as an attempt to tell me to do my job, but they’re literally making me panic and stop doing what I’m doing BECAUSE of that distraction…

Friendly fire has been disabled for over 8 years now and should definitely stay off.

Nah 8 years seems a bit long. I don’t remember exactly when I started playing but it was there when I started and I remember it being turned off.

Actually, now that i’m thinking about it, I remember that there wasn’t much TK back when it was implemented so I don’t see why it would be different now.
I know that not all players have a deep sense of responsibility but they aren’t that dumb either and the grieffers aren’t as widespread as we may think.
It’s still a stupid mechanic that will bring absolutely no benefits to the gameplay.
Only thing it will bring is even more griefing.

Exactly what Doctor said. Griefing is still happening and is even worse because it take the form of pushing which just ruins you game without having the opportunity to just die and retry.
Also, appart from sending the replay to Gaijin (which is long and there is no guarantee that it will change anything), you can’t report it.

Would rather get sprayed for a second by my teammate than to get killed repeatedly by some mad individuals.
You can report people for griefing as it is. No need to introduce such a dumb mechanic back into the game.

Sprayed for a second with no TK, compared to you being killed and being able to report it… Hmmmm, very different there…
One shows intentional destruction and would have genuine reportability to stop the people who did it, where the first is mere distraction, but still unable to report or highlight it due to the no FF…
I want the action to be highlightable, reportable, and for some to be held accountable for doing it.
By disabling it, we’re not actually making progress, and it shows that many can’t control themselves.
This is rather dismissive and really quite rude… The issue here is that it’s more likely that the person who is MGing, is the one who has the condition, and I feel as though you actually are almost deflecting and projecting…
I think you really should just give up… You’ve obviously said your piece, which to be frank, has been rather limited and narrowminded.
Literally ALL the excuses and reasons as to why it happened, have been dismissed by this one video… I wasn’t blocking anyone, I wasn’t in the way, they aren’t just spawning and hitting the bar, they are actually watching me and shooting at me.
So dumb… Even dumber that I tried helping them repair after they ended up out in the open…
When you actually can’t contribute to anything, but call someone a drama queen and explain away dumb behaviour, it’s about time you stopped… It’s not opinion, it’s just abuse. I think you need to go sort yourself out, before telling me to seek professional help.
This whole thread is a prime example of a dumb behavior.
You are advocating for re-enabling back TK, which wouldn’t solve your issue, and instead would create several issues along the way.
