Its very Weird That Russia Does not have access To FnF Armaments Starting From 10.3 To 11.7 Except The Kh29T, Kh29TE, Kh29TD,
Since there is Some Small Caliber FnF Missiles That Actually Been Developed By Russia\USSR Like the Kh25MT, Kh25MTP, Kh-25MS, Kh-25MAE / Kh-25MSE,
as An equivalent For The American Mavericks, We are not speaking about Top Tier Missiles Like The Kh38MT\ML, We are speaking about Low caliber Anti tank Guided Munitions, From 10.3 To 11.7 BR That again, been Developed by Russia\USSR.
Here is What I found:
Kh25MT: TV guided, max lock range 10 to 12km, HEAT warhead 430mm Of penetration Approximately.
Kh25MTP: IR guided, Max lock range 20km, Uses the same warhead as Kh25 Family ( HEAT ), Same Penetration values.
Kh-25MS: Utilizes satellite navigation (GPS or GLONASS) for guidance, Max range 40km.
Kh-25MAE ( Active Radar-Guided Export) / Kh-25MSE ( Satellite-Guided Export): Specialized export versions of the active radar and satellite-guided variants, often featuring updated seeker technology, 40 km.
This Is My Opinion, Which Include That Russia Should also Get access to Small Caliber FnF Missiles Similar to the American counterpart For Technological balance In my opinion.
Su-25BM at 10.7 is already hitler man i dont know what more can you ask for, you still have 2 very good FnF missile that will always 1 shot, with 2 KAB-500 TV bombs and 2 more laser guided missiles. this is already a very good kit with R-73
USA has a A-10 with AIM-9L and 6xAGM-65D, which dont always 1 shot tanks and such, Su-25BM and Su-25T is already in a very balanced position just like the A-10As of the US techtree
Out of the options you listed, only X-25MT makes sense as a Maverick equivalent. TV guided is fine, but IR is a massive improvement in range and utility capability, and absolutely not for radar guided missiles.
They wouldn’t really change or add anything. I am not saying that they won’t be added because they most likely will over the upcoming months and or years but since these KH25 variants cannot be mounted in the same way as mavericks (multiple missiles on the same pylon) the current already wide spread Kh29s are way better either way.
And in the case of the radar guided Kh25MAE, Gaijil has made it very clear over the last couple years that they will not be adding these unless sth major changes.
Kh29T, Kh29TE, Kh29TD Are Exceptions In my topic, The main subject is about why they are not implementing the small caliber guided munitions such as kh25mt for example.
The US is also missing many air to ground options, these things get added slowly. Pretending that russia is being singled out makes your post a lot less credible.
Alot of Other Main nations If we speak about their FnF weapons are left behind the door without an addition, while the its seems reasonable, Due to Balance, But In my opinion, Those Can be added, If Gaijin Thought of Adding Other Equivalent Missile to other Nations.
While I understand Russia In war thunder is strong, But its really not needed to make it weaker by not adding Other FnF missiles to a specific BR brackets ( other nations included ).
I am not complaining, That is a conversation, I am saying that russia ( like The other nations ), should also Get Access to such missiles, Since it was also Been Mentioned In WT Forums and Other Sites related to WT, It`s necessary, Since Also USA Got its own Small Caliber FnF Missiles ( mavericks ).
