Discussion on ZTZ99A model errors in game

That’s the problem, China doesn’t even need subtrees, our own equipment is enough to fill 5 lines. But due to the weakening of gaijin, we had to look for other top-of-the-line vehicles, such as the Leopard 2SG/RI which is the most suitable (referring to gaming performance) top-of-the-line vehicles we could find, and other ASEAN countries (except Thailand, which has already gone to Japan) do not have top-of-the-line vehicles.

Nice, although I think you should edit the report so that it states base armor without ERA is 700mm according to ppt, while with ERA it is over 800mm against KE.

ok

How does Gaijin know that the turret is so much weaker in this area? They provide no explanation, no evidence, just “armor looks thinner there.” No, it is still over 600mm LOS protection and that is with no ERA. Gaijin nerfed it just because the LFP weakspot was reduced last update, and needed 99A to have more weakspots so that it can be “balanced” and not exceed the Russian counterparts. It is pretty clear by now.

So, no buff for ztz99a and china, for conclussion its almost unplayable because of gaijin

Not going to say unplayable but… it sad. Just genuinely sad… it would have been much better but gaijin said “no” then puts whatever to justify it.

Just like at what Gaijin put recently, a Pakistani Mi-35M. Basically doing anything except repairing bugs

Almost unplayable? Dude it’s a great tank what are you on about. Sure the reload isn’t ideal and spall liners would help but it’s still a very competitive tank.

It has weakspots that are absolutely massive. 577mm of pen + 7.1 second reload. Now they nerf the base armor of the 99A to just T-72B level. Almost unplayable might be a bit of a stretch, but Gaijin’s attitude towards what they think about 99A is clear. It is T-72 that is heavier and can reverse, and with much more weakspots. This is completely wrong and if you scroll up we’ve made many posts that talk about the inaccuracies of 99A, and there are other threads that highlight issues with vehicles such as Z-10, MBT-2000, VT-4, etc.

The current system for accepting modeling/bug reports is very bad. Countries like Russia like to advertise/have a lot of their information on their vehicles be public. But countries like China or Japan are very secretive about their capabilities and suffer as a result. Gaijin doesn’t take images or videos, or interviews with defense officials as evidence. Every so often we learn about Chinese capability through sources like these.

Guess what?Gaijin passed the Type 10’s data with just a possibly fake video

It’s a depressing tank. It could have been much much better if it got the reload it deserved, spall liners, 600+mm of pen etc.

But we get this. Yes it’s relatively competitive because of its speed and power to weight ratio but it’s still depressing. Added on gaijin refuses to fix the issues. That last “rework”? That was already a final straw for me and gaijin ever making this vehicle more accurate.

Don’t be so enthusiastic trying to see the “positive” sides.

Edit: I still don’t know where gaijin got the value of 577mm when the penetrator is 600+mm.
