VT-5 was already shown several times. ZTQ15 works a bit of the same way but probably with different modules. The main uncertainty is how will Gaijin design them in game, but I don’t really have big hopes: Chinese domestic vehicles are always deliberately targeted

If they give ZTQ-15 or VT-5 7.1 second reload I will laugh. “We don’t accept videos as evidence” the video literally shows them loading a round within 4 seconds.

Take for sure that they will use that excuse when the Japanese Type 90 and 10 and the French Leclercs’ autoloaders were submitted via videos

If the proposal to upgrade China’s homegrown vehicles fails, ASEAN will be the last option. Actually, I’d like to see a wider range of vehicles in the Chinese TT (because I’m too lazy to develop more TTs), but reason tells me that ASEAN should become a completely new TT

China has lots of domestic vehicles to add before adding ASEAN vehicles, but this doesn’t seem like a bad option. The main problem is how most CN players and the ASEAN countries’ players can handle and digest that

This is futile, now they are even unwilling to repair the armor loophole of 99A and VT4.

War Thunder has a caste system, and the Chinese faction is in a low position, and when it is strong, it is immediately weakened, and when it is weak, it is slightly strengthened.

There is and has been passed, the main problem is the lack of a steel plate in the range of 120-160KE, and the fact that the armored model should occupy two-thirds of the frontage and not half.

So the armor of VT-4 must be ~670mm in ufp?
Actually, what I can be sure of is that there is a layer of steel plate missing (the armor model has a total of five layers, from the manual from Thailand, but I can’t find it), and the specific KE is extrapolated from the data provided by the manual.

I would like a new techtree but the westerns would complain about an ASEAN techtree due to Copy and paste reasons or the situation with israel but you can have a lot more vehicles in ASEAN then Israel on launch but… Due to the copy paste manner I seriously doubt.
There are only two reasons why I would like to see ASEAN enter China:

China’s top strength needs to be strengthened, especially now that SU34 and F15E have joined, the top environment is becoming more and more unbalanced.

ASEAN has a lot of interesting vehicles for China, such as PT-91M, Leopard 2SG/RI, F-15SG, SU-30MKM. You can, of course, say that the appearance of Western weapons and Chinese weapons together is unreasonable, but the appearance of Chinese / Russia / Western weapons at the same time in the Japan TT is also unreasonable. My view is to put aside political preconceptions and think about it all from the perspective of the game.

I get your point regarding it being in the Japanese tech tree hence why if Thailand was to go to Japan add all vehicles that aren’t of Chinese origin then have the VT-4 from Thailand in China as I don’t know. Maybe a squadron? Not sure. I get your point in regard with Chinese tech tree also.
However for the rest of ASEAN, what I meant by an ASEAN tech tree of westerners complaining would be… if a ASEAN techtree comes out. Western people will complain about it and get toxic to whoever plays it as such like when China was released. I have less of an issue with my countries vehicles in China compared to Japan but I still think the best route for ASEAN from the most neutral implementation without any kind of push back which can be seen by many people from SEA. Would be:
PT-91M, 2SG: UK because of commonwealth
Leopard 2RI: Germany due to the origin
Sabrah: maybe controversial but follow with the rest of the Filipino tech tree to US tech tree
Etc etc.
But this is only feasible if Gaijin gives Chinese vehicles the necessary performance boost and upgrades which I don’t even know if the vehicles will ever receive.
