According to the naming rules for weapons and equipment of the People’s Republic of China, the use of the letter “E” in the equipment name indicates an export version product. It should not be used for the ZTZ99A, but rather incorporated into the MBT-3000 (VT4A1) and future VT series (China’s export tank series).
In reality, ZTZ99A’s APFSDS is current DTC-10-125. Thats RIGHT in WT.

Not necessarily, cause for example PL15E is self use with same changes from AMRAAM B to C. Also there is the DTC-10-125S.
But the value is far from it.

I was playing top-tier China and then I realized that apart from the good reverse speed of the WZ and ZTZ-99A, I can have much better experiences in other nations MBTs at that BR. I then found that I was starting to take AFT09 as my first spawn because I could be sure that it can actually kill the enemy without issue, so I ended up just dropping down in BR, since there was no point using those MBTs. They still have the reverse speed gimped VT4A1 as end of the line, so I’m not holding my breath on them fixing things.
I have seen mods and managers confirm things like China’s missing spall liners, but no action has been taken. It’s been over a year now that T-90M/Leopard2A7 and others have had spall liners added. What is the hold up? Guess they too busy adding shiny new jets.

Ok, I just learned that ZTZ-99A has worse armor than ZTZ-99-III… this doesn’t make much sense xD.
Look at the sizes of the mantlet weakspots!
Perhaps I should have gone for ZTZ-99-III and stayed at 11.0… shame I realize this 125,000 RP into ZTZ-99A.
I know ZTZ-99A has better gun handling and reverse speed, but a full BR step higher while also having worse armor and still lacking its spall liners… I don’t know if it’s worth it to uptier the whole lineup for that.

Gaijin screwed over the 99A really badly.
Not only are the weakspots larger than they actually are, you’ll find the hull armor on the 99A is actually comparable to ZTZ-99-III despite the 99A not even using the same chassis.
In fact, 99A which started development in the late 2000s has comparable UFP armor to a 1980s T-72B ingame, which is completely ridiculous.
Original ZTZ99 prototype which began development in the late 90s has already achieved that level of armor.

when fix, they accepted but no fix of this are there any responsible moderators for that reports? developers know about this problem or no?
They take years to implement this sometimes, just because bug reports are accepted doesn’t mean they will go through with changes unfortunately.

I can’t find youtube sources but things do exist currently exclusively on CN platforms.
However this has confirmed that ZTZ99A is at least planned to mount GL-6 APS.

Likely, although no official designation has been given. As with J11A, it is unlikely it is given a separate designation to ZTZ99A unless there are more changes we are not currently aware of.
Btw, I don’t think that is GL-6 on here.

it’s just a model for APS testing.
Well we have seen the real thing, be it just a test model, we can be assured that the original pics were not made up, PLA is planning on using GL6, especially as GL6 is only applied to VT4 o far.
