I’m curious how potent the Spice 250s will be with the new AA systems this update. Can’t launch them over mach 1, but also can’t fly to high with the BUK or SAMP around.
Compare to Hammers and KH38MT’s its pretty shit, its on the same level as Ir guided GBU’s but instead you can spam it.

Ingame thrust is not static. It changes with height and velocity.
Statcard shows thrust with h=0 v=0
Brochures show only static thrust of engine on test stand
45 large caliber chaff + rest being flares is all you need to be honest.
Yeah, your point absolutely makes sense. I just want to try to get the best and most optimised sufa version while we actually can report things.
Btw, do you have any sources proving large caliber CMs are more effective or you just feeling this way, based on your experience? If its actually two times effective of a regular ones, thats a good alternative
IRRC datamines proves that Large caliber has double amount of effectivenes that normal Cm has.
well, according to poll, people prefer current layout of CMs or just not that interested in it. I guess its better to leave things as it is right now in order to not ruin fun for other people whos waiting for sufa(

the Mirage 2000 and Rafale are a great example of why a mix of large and small CMs are amazing, i’ll happily take larger CM dispensers since they are generally more effective than 2-3x the amount of BOL or standard CMs, furthermore, the 45 cm slots that are lost, are made up for by the ability to carry large chaff or flares, which for a single engine fighter is superior to the ability to spam only a few more regular CMs
I think some GBUs need the mach 1 restriction lifted, as it heavily impedes their ability to loft, and further holds you back from the ability to standoff, such is possible with AGM-65s/KH-38s. SPICE series is hamstringed by the fact you have to slow down to drop them, especially since the F-15/16s like to stay just over supersonic when lining up a drop

Large chaff is substantially more effective too, but flares are where ‘large CMs’ are far more notable
