Hot take #1: The Cromwell is better than the T-34 in every way that matters with the sole exception of small or low velocity rounds.
Hot take #2: Fire Arc is unironically a fun map at low tier if there aren’t any sniper vehicles present in the match
T-34 has poor reverse speed, but the Cromwell is even worse.
What’s the point of the new event. I can already queue for normal ground battles and get the exact same experience of German players pretending sniping is a remotely interesting playstyle.
Neutral steering is better on the cromwell so reversing is not really a problem
What is with fakours and alerting RWRs so late compared to every single other missile in the game? I’m seeing them alert me less than 15km away compared to the 20 that’s common for other missiles. I’ve seen videos of them alerting RWRs less than 10km away, which gives you 8 seconds or less to react most of the time.
Why specifically do Aim-54s/Fakours get this ability, and not others?
Wdym? Thats mainly just the tws datalink in effect where the missile just uses the planes radar to guide itself in until its close enough then goes pitbull itself. Mainly when they’re using tws it’ll only give you a blip instead of a lock warning which then makes those missiles way deadlier if your not paying attention.
I know that’s what it is, but why do the Aim-54s/Fakours pitbull so much later than every other missile?

4 second and 5 second reloads for top tier tanks while realistic is not good for the game.
it encourages very negative styles of play. I would also remove the laser range finder players should have to learn shell drop. The level of game knowledge to play the game at top tier is zero it is setup to allow a new player to join a game and do well. We need to reinstate a learning curve.
I’ve used the Cromwell. Until you get near top speed, it’s mobility is pretty meh.
and? The t-34’s mobility is overrated as fuck and everything else about the t-34, other than volumetric, is worse than the Cromwell.
If the Churchill VII gets moved up it’s genuine proof that Gaijin does not play this game. Like moreso than anything else. You wanna know how to counter the VII? SOVIET TANKS. I sure do love shooting slow 75s at things that you actually need to aim kind of precisely at!!! Skill issue? Maybe, but also the weakspots just choose not to work like 60% of the time and I’m shooting places I know should work at angles that aren’t egregious. Even downtiers against the soviets are fucking miserable because that’s just EVEN MORE KVs you’re going to see. Shoot at a low tier soviet tank with a 75 and then tell me that russian bias is fake. This shit is real, it’s just almost entirely exclusive to low tier at this point. It sure is awesome that a KV-1 has a more reliable way of penning me in my fucking Churchill than I do of penning him.

And… the T-34 armor - it’s ability to deflect shots - is it’s major attraction. But you trivialize it by saying “other than”. I mean, YOUR OWN post just above this proves my point.
brother the american/british 75 is a low velocity round I always couch my statements with saying that the T-34 is better at deflecting slow or small rounds. And I don’t think I’ve overrated the Cromwell’s mobility because it’s still better than the t-34s, especially in combination with gun handling.

Why isn’t the bias in the air? I’ll fight USSR planes all day long, the yak3 even got bumped up BR which was nice but I didn’t feel like it was needed. If you look at statshark I think it is, you can see which nations do the best in what tiers and what vehicles- it would make you think that there is no Russian bias. I do notice on ground, those USSR tanks are rough but US tanks can erase my German tanks so then is the bias bent towards the US vs Germany even though there are two reasons?
All this is, bad experiences from players. If USSR was truly biased you couldn’t find matches with other nations. I think the best prop in the game before 5.0 is from Sweden so why is that? A nation that just joined NATO and enraged Russia… come on.
