Has very similar pen to Panzer 4 H which is 2 steps below in BR.
Has slightly better reload but less post-pen-damage.

How you figure it is undertiered?
Global stats on statshark show Kills-per-spawn = 0.76 and kills per death = 0.86.
Nothing about that screams OP.

The T-34 STZ at 4.3 has better stats…

Cassiopea needs to be moved to coastal spawn, it cannot compete with reserve tier destroyers. It has half the speed, half the crew, half the caliber, quarter the firepower at best, and no FCS. It only has one cannon, a PT boat could easily keep it disabled. Not to mention torpedoes which it couldn’t dodge in a million years. This thing was made to sit in the cap and get bombed, torped, and arty’d. It would fit the coastal game loop just fine, move it to 4.7 if you must just don’t force it to fight destroyers.

Meanwhile, the Japanese coastal TT gets not one but two decently quick cold-war corvettes with twin autoloading 3inch guns at the exact same BR…

I think for coastal specifically, the mode is so old and mostly abandoned that Gaijin doesn’t really care about BR balance unless it’s slowly removing everything that made france fun to play and putting new french vessels at goofily high BRs (see E50 frigates)

Started playing those and Brestois is quite a pain to play when spawning at the destroyer / Light cruiser spawn

To be fair they are mostly anti submarine ships (the torps are supposed to be guided) but we don’t have submarines in game

Le corse with the 100kg anti submarine grenades can do some nasty things to destroyers if you ambush them at close range though

Yeah, it’s quite sad to see the… better? of the two as a premium… The top of the french coastal TT, worse and at a higher BR than a premium clone. (Though neither are particularly good).

Naval needs decompression badly, no way in hell either should be facing cruisers.

…And then there’s the absolute disaster of a boat that is La Combattante. How it hasn’t moved down in BR yet is a mystery…

APHE should have been nerfed and anyone who disagrees is genuinely just wrong objectively. Defend cupola shots to me with an argument beyond “it rewards skill”. If you can, I’ll give gaijin money and buy the black prince.

so russian mains can spawn up to 4 times with BMPT & nobody cares, around 11.7 BR unplayable if you are not BMPT or teammate with these scraps, OK we can raise our voices if repair costs will get increased 5000 SL to 6000 SL. What does gaijin exactly apply on BMPT, balance or realism? Because I can’t see none of them, brighten me if you can.

Loved people who placed the example of T-95, its like the worst example you can use because it’s a T-95, it doesn’t have a turret and was the slowest tank in-game, like dude, just flank it, or wait for it to drive past you.

At least if said rework came you could add Spall Fragments Bouncing Internally on all shells, to allow more damage in general.

It was pretty obvious some BR change here and there would happen, but it wasn’t the end of the world.

I agree with this. Playing US 5.7 is just never fun, especially if you get put against Germany AND Russia. Against a King Tiger, the 75 Jumbo can’t really do anything unless you can get close enough to the sides. And against the many soviet heavies, it’s basically target practice. Amusingly, if you’re fighting a Tiger E or H1, you’re usually not going to struggle unless it’s a smart Tiger player.

playing 7.x britain is really cool because you lose any engagement with a heat vehicle by default because gaijin has decided that your primary ammo rack is the one next to your driver for some reason, which is not true on the centurion 1. The centurion 1 is the ONLY centurion with a good ammo layout. Is a stabilizer such a game changer that it mandates the worst ammo layout possible? Even the conqueror has this problem and it has a stupid long reload and can’t even fire solid shot. Why did gaijin do this

Just thought I would copy this reply to another user regarding SPAA ammunition and their effectiveness as anti tank vehicles, not their designed role.
There in lies the whole problem of the game really. It is a shallow shoot em up with no real depth of play or long term strategy. You drive to a white circle, hopefully without being shot sit in it for a minute or two again hopefully without being shot, stay there and shoot other people trying to steal your white circle.
Adding all the vehicles that they do just for the Guinness World Record of most things in a game is really a recipe for the mess we now have. I have said before a lot of vehicles have no place in the game with how it is structured and played, these vehicles are often a hindrance to the side that is playing them and are there just as a novelty, so to make these vehicles not useless things are added/altered to make them a little competitive, likewise vehicles which were very good have things removed/altered so they are not too good.
It is very very annoying sometimes with the apparent luck that happens in the game, it is a poor gaming experience full of inconsistencies.

You make a good argument but I do think that there is a good amount of depth with the armor system and dynamics between ground and air… and that depth is completely removed when APHE exists because cupola shots are a thing. There are also a good amount of vehicles (T58, SAV 201248) that just shouldn’t be in the game at all in a fundamental gameplay balancing sense. The game is good, the developers are not.

this matchmaking imbalance is freakin BAD!!! I am a 7.0BR but keeps on playing at 8.0/7.7BR games. how to kill tier 5/6 tanks when you just have a maximum tier 4 BR 7.0 tank? like GAIJIN? FOR REAL??? any logic that after a few winning streak and suddenly you put us on a higher tier/BR games to end our streak? FOR REAL???
