On March 15th, 1848, an uprising broke out in Pest against the Austrian Empire, which at the time ruled the Kingdom of Hungary. The uprising was bloodless and achieved concessions from the Emperor, who agreed to all of the Hungarian demands, granting them freedom of the press, civil rights and greater autonomy. The anniversary of this event is celebrated to this day as one of Hungary’s main national holidays.

And when are they going to add the Toldi and the Turan II? They are two Hungarian-made tanks that entered service with the Hungarian army and saw combat in reasonable numbers. And Gaijin adds them as limited event tanks that cannot be obtained or purchased again. The reasonable thing would be to add the name of a Hungarian unit to the event versions, and add the normal versions to the Italian tech tree.
Both of them where in the Battlepass some time. I got the Turan II and missed the Toldi which is a shame cause as a hungarian i want to have them all. But Gaijin sadly wont ever bring Battlepass vehicels back
in the last 2 BP they brought old vehicles back! They replaced the stage for the 3. reward by a box which contains old bp or event vehicles. The toldi was in one of them! unfortunately its a rng box which gives you one of the vehicles you not already own but maybe not the most-wanted…
Bf 110 G-4 and Tigris are 2 very good premiums, definitely worth getting, the first one I use in all modes where planes are allowed)
PS regarding Hungarian vehicles I hope it won’t be too long until you add more of their unique vehicles (Toldi III, V-4, Toldi Páncélvadász, T-55 SZRP, T-72 Currus) and especially long awaited props (like Me 210Ca-1 and Heja II).
They can add a Toldi III and a Toldi II up armored experimental variant. There are earlier Turan II versions with different armor layout, too. So Gaijin could fill the hole that these two vehicles left when they made these serial produced versions into fomo battlepass rewards.
Gaijin really did their best to implement the Hungarian subtree the worst way possible.
Yes, but as an event tank, which cannot be bought even in the gaijin store, so only those who got it at the time have it. I wouldn’t think it was such a bad thing if it were some kind of prototype that was made in a few places, but I don’t think it’s right to do it with production vehicles, which entered service and combat, in a secondary branch in which you don’t have many options to field tanks native to that country.
Which means it can’t be added to the tech tree.
They were added prior to Hungary being chosen as a sub-tree, and sadly that’s not something that can be changed. Both legally and ethically.
It’s as simple as adding a unit name to the event build name and giving them a unique skin based on real-life images, and adding a simple, non-historical skin version to the Italian tech tree.
