Yes, despite once you start maneuvering it loses a lot of energy and becomes hard to fly, it has a very powerful offensive armament (great in head-ons and removing lightly-armored ground targets) + 2 bomb drops of 1000 kg and 250 kg, big bomb is also useful in naval battles. You will have to get used to its flight performance, but armament alone makes it worth.
Toldi IIA isn’t the only variant, also even if it was, it could be added just fine, look at Ostwind II and Ostwind OST for example (a single prototype added as both regular and premium).
Although Toldi III or IIAK would be more interesting as a regular addition.
