They can spawn the low BR vehicle to gauge how the team is going and what they face, so they don’t have to pull out their precious KDR best vehicle to make them have less numbers…

Bro I’ve been playing assault a decent bit the past few days with the 2S38 and it definitely works. Or do you think that it’s just a coincidence when a dozen tanks shoot at me, disable my tank, and then start ignoring me after I pop smoke and repair until I can get moving again.
Just over a dozen coincidences in a row… yeah…

Indeed it was… And it was bumped last week by the OP to try and tell me that I was wrong for absolutely no other reason than they seen me start posting on the forums and went ‘Oh it’s that guy, time to tell him he was wrong in a thread I abandoned a whole 12 months ago…’ …

You might as well start a debate with the people who claim that the bot planes don’t rearm rockets/bombs if they’re not shot down. (From my observations over 18 months of playing Ground Assault, they most certainly do, it’s a function of definitely time and possibly distance.)

They will never agree with you, because that would include admitting a mistake. If the available options are either that on one side, and on the other making a huge fuss over something unrelated as if that had been their main point the whole time, door #2 it is.

Let’s say that it is true. Can YOUR team see through the smoke? They cant, so they have to leave their positions and then they get killed.

let’s see:

Here i had to move thus almost instantly losing my spawn protection. Got killed through smoke before i could see them.

Here in order to shoot at any of the 3 groups i have to move out f this safe position.

Here i have to move out of the resupply circle thus not being able to restock my small ready rack.

Here i spawned inside smoke. I had to move and got killed through smoke about 5 times. We lost the game because of that.

I saw there were comments made and some time later i answered them.

If you are popping smoke within the base where many of your team-mates are, you are doing two things besides maybe allowing yourself to repair…

  1. pi$$ing off your teammates because the smoke inhibits their ability to target and kill the bots
  2. helping the bots - they don’t need to kill players to win. They just need to get within the cap zone and drain tickets. If the players can’t target the bots because of smoke then the bots get an advantage.

If you’re off by yourself and pop smoke that does not affect other players - no problem.
But if you do it in base - you are being selfish. Just respawn - it’s faster and does not hurt your team.

Lmao at this massive schizo debatebro showdown of a thread. The funniest thing is that the premise of the topic post’s argument is wrong. Smoke actually works against the bots, and it’s pretty obvious that it does. Same logic used in the target detection, or the enemy rendering, or how sound works. Therefore the argument presented by OP is valid, but isn’t sound.
