As far as helos like the mi28nm just being completely immune to the IRIS-T.
the IRIS-T uses an two-colour seeker based around a 128x2 linear array and a scanning mirror which builds an image from a row of detector elements and scans rapidly across the target. It would produce a 128x128 size image 80 times per second. Each of the elements has a resolution in milliradians. It was regarded to have good resistance against [DIRCM] claimed that scanning arrays were less susceptible than staring arrays as the former receive the DIRCM energy for fractions of a second whereas the latter receive it continuously.
Good luck man its gajin everything russian must defeat nato weaponry.
the AH-64E and Z-10ME has better L-Dircm coverage than the MI-28MN though
Shhh, only RU vehicles are problematic.
Dont they all currently get 360° forcefield that doesnt care about amount of missiles anyway?
yeah IRL they have better coverage, but in game they dont
And more missiles, but some players only want to complain…
you forgot to mention that the mi28 gets much better missiles than the others, and can defend itself against aircraft much more effectively
16 vs 8 is a big deal as well.
No it isn’t. Jagm are heat. Heat in this game I’d almost always worse than he. Lmurs not killing is rare and lmurs have a top attack trajectory(spike and hellfires should’ve had this years ago but of course Russia gets it first despite lmur being much newer)
When it comes to destroying anti-aircraft guns, quantity will always be better than quality, as the important thing is to overload them to prevent the missiles from being intercepted. And when you need to destroy tanks, 2 missiles should do the job, and you still have a bonus: for a light vehicle, 1 is always enough. And it’s still good to remember that Apache and Z10 are much more maneuverable.
As per my comment above, yes 16 is much better than 8
yeah gaijin decided to ignore the fact that JAGM should really be both a HEAT warhead and a blast frag warhead, which would absolutely shred light skinned vehicles and instead made them do significantly less damage than hellfires
you know that its not to unusual for AAs to eat JAGMs right now? and enough LMURs get through
also it doesnt matter as much as you think because they can just fly above the helipad and its very fast to rearm
Also they closed the bug report on the proximity fuze without a response
yeah I saw that, absolutely insane behavior by bug report managers “The answer will be provided later.” Like WTF
4 days ago btw
I know, I posted the screenshot in the other thread
Ignoring basic math is interesting.
It’s not completely immune, i died myself multiple times to IRIS-T because i thouhgt i was immune.
Good resistance doesn’t mean it’s immune, does it ?
