Alvis it’s not the dazzler dircm it’s newy laser based laser drcm with are vastly different from older dazzlers on ka52 and all that’s what they topic is about not the old dazzlers
I understand that but previous there were chances when your missiles will still work right now it is so bad that a system that was designed to counter at max 2 missiles can counter 100 at a time
#1 helicopter killer in the game - the QN506. Orbital strike on helicopters no matter where they are or how far they try hide. And no, the spike is not even close to as effective as the QN506’s QN502CDD.
I have the QN506/Vilkas and from my experience the Mi-28NM and Z10-E are immune to the QN502 and ground launch spikes
There IS NOTHING IR guided that will hit them.
And to all the people claiming you can overload the helis no you cannot. The system will instantly kick off any missle. I had matches with 2 IRIS-T and a CLAWS launching everything they got and it dazzled them ALL.
They really need to add a better mechanic to this system. Make it take a second to disable a missle and make it have blind spots like its supposed to.
Most people don’t, other than the current DIRCM and being able to carry a better variety of ATGMs and more. Until now KA52 was better off the fact alone that it’s not immediately rendered useless and fragile when the hull gets blacked out from damage. The DIRCM is stupidly strong against anything not SACLOS from my plays with it. Doesn’t matter if it’s ground launched or air launched
Yeah, I still typically see whatever premium helicopters are around for nations more than anything from what I see. Maybe people are in the same boat as me, where I’ve unlocked the whole Soviet helicopter tree (by turning on the grind heli via ground option) but then can’t bring myself to grind the 300k worth of modifications, lol.
If DIRCM is that strong, I might have to just grind it out.
I agree. This is why we have lineups. Even if DIRCM did make the new SPAA pointless, you should have SACLOS SPAA in your lineup as well, and there are usually some on your team anyway.
Thank you. Came here for this.
The IRIS-T family has a high-resolution imaging IR seeker with digital processing, which was specifically advertised as being resistant to flares and DIRCM. But instead the red side gets the upper hand on both near god-like DIRCM defence for their top tier helis and top tier AA that simply bypasses DIRCM (as if the Nato helis had DIRCM to begin with). Same old same old.
Just read the report. Surprised they actually accepted this. Now they just need to find a new way to feed the bias before this can be finally added.
Im done with top tier. Since weeks now Gaijin did absolutely nothing about the LDIRCM problem. I just played another match and I feel like 30 kills for one person - IN GROUND REALSTIC BATTLES, is enough.
The whole team was SPAA, the sky was flooded with missiles and one after another every SPAA just died. And the Mi28NM? Just sat at spawn and kept spamming all missiles.
Either remove the LMUR or LDIRCM completely or nerf it to the ground.
This is just showing that Gaijin doesn’t care at all.
The mode has needed a name change for eons to tell people it’s about tanks and also aircraft, yes.
But at the same time, no CAS (or any vehicle really) should be uncounterable like this, either. If the intended counters all do not work (top tier SAMs), do not work well enough to be practical (SCALOS SAMs from lower ranks), or are not available when you need them (CAP), then this is a case where the only options left are:
Lower CAP spawn costs so people can first-spawn planes and hunt the choppers.
If lowering aircraft costs is too likely to trigger certain special snowflakes, then and only then would nerfing LDIRCM become justifiable.
Nerfs help nobody at the end of the day when you really stop to think about it. They don’t encourage anyone to play better. They don’t increase the value of any other vehicle to deal with a problem vehicle. They are simply punishment to a problem vehicle. Therefore, nerfing should only be a last-resort measure and not the first thing done, no matter what the problem vehicle/weapon happens to be.
