Digital RWRs with no altitude indication

As is stands right now the only RWR that gives altitude indication is the SPO15. Which is found in lower tiers and not at the absolute top. All digital RWRs lack this feature which doesnt make much sense to me. With how games currently flow having an additional tool that gives more awareness to yourself when the spotting system fails would be nice. A counter argument to this is using the voice warning system to aide you. This is a non starter as top tier has way to many things going on from contacts popping in an out and constant rwr pings from missiles flying around. My question for you to make gameplay just feel slightly better is add altitude indication to RWRs.

Quite sad we don’t have this widespread yet, would be very helpful to have on any jet that can receive it which is most if not all top tiers of I’m not mistaken. +1

it gives altitude indication?

only in the cockpit

Well, think it through, is there proof of other aircraft having this feature IRL through cockpit photos or cockpit videos?

True at least give us a above or below indicator in 3rd person so we can tell where the pings are coming from, i think i large scale rwr update would be pretty welcome by the entire playerbase.

Only the planes that had this feature IRL should have this ingame, even if it means only the SPO-15 gets this feature, I don’t know where this urge of adding unhistorical features is coming from.

yeah i agree on that much but there are many rwr in game that give above or below indication even with the spo-15 thats only in the cockpit there should be a 3rd person option.

Typhoon at least does. Cant say for certain regarding the MFD RWR display, but the RWR contact should be displayed in the HMD, which would indicate the RWR is able to give both direction and elevation.

most digital RWR planes in game have this feature it just only shows in 1st person
